Re: Let's Make A Complete List Of Dreamcast DLC (With downlo
Anyone want to try compiling all these together, and hosting them somewhere? They're very tiny so a complete pack shouldn't be very big. Ideally, whoever's hosting it can keep it up to date as well. Or maybe we could put it together into a torrent? I just don't want us to potentially lose these DLCs...

Re: Should I get a top loader? (NES woes)
As a possible alternative to refurbishing your 72-pin or purchasing a top-loader, you could take a look at this Kickstarter project: m Great that someone's making a replacement. That name is terrible though. That looks pretty awesome! Only question that I have, and it seems no one else has asked, i...

Re: The Arcade Puzzlers thread

i am mostly excited about this thing because i'm sure people are going to hack/mod the shit out of it and i anticipate it essentially becoming a $140 emu box w/ original controller support. Or you could get a Wii, which is more powerful and has more options for emulating, and you can always buy ori...

Re: Flexible music organiser
To be honest, I really don't understand what you need. However, if you're on a *nix based system, MPD is a fantastic music database, that's very lightweight. You can get pretty creative with it at the filesystem level, and you can script it as well. It may work on Windows through Cygwin or something...

But it still emulates. It is just restricted to reading the roms off the carts in its current state. That being said, having an emulation box with hdmi, built in controller converters/ports, and built in cart readers for $100 is a pretty cool package; decent price, and no fuss with set up or custom...
