To my understanding, its one of the last Sega Saturn games from Capcom (next to FF Revenge). The SAT port was supposed to be canceled after they announced development of the game being shifted to DC, tho it was released on both platforms in the end.IrishNinja wrote:^never understood the price on that one, is it better than the DC port somehow?
It def looks better than the DC version in terms of its visual resolution and has some additional extras. I can't decide which of the two sounds worse in the audio department. DC version still loads faster than and has no framerate dips.
If the SAT port was considered the definitve version, it was eventually surpassed by the PS2 port in Alpha Anthology.
This version was literally the only one I've hadn't the chance to play until now. Not a big fan of Alpha/Zero 3, but it sure is nice getting some actual hands on with this version of the game.
