What beer does "everyone" drink where you live?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

It's a rare thing to even see it this far. I only really see it at specialty stores and the HEB in San Marcos by the college that carries a bunch of off the wall beers.
I've been to that HEB lol! Had a buddy transfer to TX St. HEB carries a lot. Pass one with an out of state co-worker & she asked "what's a 'heb'" instead of "H" "E" "B" ha!

St Arnolds is a good beer & the tour is fun. Shiner has gone a bit mainstream but I had fun there as well.

I live on the Va/WV border. Standard mainstream stuff like Bud light is popular here.

The River Rats who chill along The Bluestone, The Greenbrier, and The New river all drink PBR.

College kids drink Natty Light, The Beast, and Deer Blood.

About two or three years ago, Yuengling started distributing here. The bottles all say "America's oldest beer" or some such thing, but no one believes that here. As far as the locals are concerned, they just started selling that stuff. I think the vaguely-Chinese-sounding name also makes it seem foreign to the locals.

I tried one of these with dinner last night. It's absolutely wonderful.

Chalk another one up in the British column for great beer.

I live in Texas so I'm surrounded by unwashed miller lite and dos equis drinkers. I'm a bit of a beer hipster so I sustain myself primarily on Real Ale products (Fire Man's 4, Alamo Golden Ale, etc) but I also enjoy anything Blue Moon, Shiner, or Sapporo make.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Around here it's Bud Light and Heineken. Bud Light is mediocre and Heineken is freaking awful. Not a fan of hops.

Amongst the native populace, Efes and Tuborg, which are apparently the only two beers in existence in Turkey.

What about Coors Light? Everybody I know loves that stuff, I can only drink it ice cold. I know a decent amount of Bud Light fans, but I hate that stuff.

My sister throws down on Blue Moon though. I haven't had any of it yet though.

How are Efes and Tuborg? Any good? I've never seen them offered anywhere in the US, even at import places.

Kids these days.

Coors Light is shit. Bud Light is shit too, though one of my friends drinks it like water(...which is basically what it is).

Blue Moon and other witbiers are ok in my opinion. They taste a bit sweet to me, but I enjoy them during the summer.

Efes Dark is alright. Tuborg and regular Efes are nothing special, there's a reason no one bothers importing them.

I find it ironic that despite being so close to Europe, the selection of European beers is far smaller here than in the states.

Admittedly though, it is a predominantly Muslim country. I don't find it that unusual.
