I never really had a go-to series of games to play while drinking mostly because I only drank at parties at the time and would just join in whatever games the other guests were playing. This all changed at magfest 8 when I won myself a copy of Warlords for the 2600 at the booth that was doing the raffles, and proceeded to pick myself up a 2600 to play it on about 5 minutes after winning it. As the weekend progressed so did my new collection of 2600 games, and that console pretty much became the focus point for each of the parties in my hotel room for the rest of the con. Now whenever I have company I always make sure to bring the beer out with the 2600 and just pick games at random and let loose. The system is great for drunk gaming!

Really!? The 2600 for parties. Through out a few titles for me.

Dude.... I haven't played chu chu rocket since '99. My roommate & I in college were addicted to bomber man so I imagine a crazy puzzle game would get nuts & addictive.

I would rather play some boardgames if I want to socialize. Cosmic Encounter is always a riot.

Agreed. Catch Phrase is a hoot. Operation, Clue, Monopoly, Life, Trouble...all great when you really want to interact. We're also a huge fan of dominoes and card games, specifically Rummy 500, five card draw, crazy eights, Uno, and Phase 10.

True. To bring our wives in (funny, same girls that were always @ my house in college - we all got married & still hang out) we play catch phrase, uno, & Cranium.

Then, we normally start getting too competitive (always guys v girls), they turn on a chic flick, & we migrate to the game room!

Outright coitus? Not yet, though I might try that out soon for the lols. However, I did have a girlfriend back in the day who used to like to flash me, grab my junk, etc to distract me while we were playing Soul Calibur.
