Your Go-To Drunk/With Friends Video Games?

Title says it all, when the beer gets brought out, what games get turned on at your place? If you guys don't drink, what still seems to find it way out when ppl are over?

With buddies over, ours always end up being 1 of these 5:
- NFL Blitz 2000 - Dreamcast (I get my ass kicked at this)
- Metal Slug - Wii VC/PS2 Anthology (only ever beat this drunk lol)
- NBA Jam - Jaguar (yes... Jag, great near arcade port)
- X-Men v Street Fighter - Saturn (I kick their ass at this!)
- Street Fighter II SCE - Genesis (6 button controllers FTW!)

Most of these spilled over from college. I think my buddies and I innately want to relive those times when it was okay to drink beer play all games night, skip class the following day, rinse and repeat, HA!

If I ever drink a couple of beers to wind down by myself, I find myself playing RPGs and/or my NES titles. Odd mix, but seems to be my chill out combo.

Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed is fantastic with friends. Super Smash Bros and Halo pretty well speaks for themselves. Accessible but deep enough to remain entertaining over several hours of play.

When I drank, my go to's were Gauntlet Legends (gamecube) and Super Monkey Ball (gamecube ---> Monkey Target can kill 48 hours in a hurry).

Wailai Golf 64 is good as well - but obviously only 1 person actually playing at a time.

HAHA! I used to drink a lot. Occasionally now, and somehow the five games I mentioned find their way out!

Nah, I don't smoke weed, but I've played games with other ppl who are smoking & I get a laugh out of them tripping out!

Arm wrestle or Slap box instead (hair pulling allowed in slap boxing).

Then play Contra, Altered Beast, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, and in that order.
