Changed out my first one to Iron Brigade from Prince of Persia Sands of Time. I plan on trying to play Prince as well, but I obtained Iron Brigade last night and already beat half of it... Figured I would have more momentum if I get an easy one done first.
I think mine might have had a buggy install, as some of the static images don't seem to load correctly. But I did eventually end up messing around in it a bit. I like Iron Brigade, it's fun.

Let's make this thing official:

1. Aladdin (GEN)
2. Blaster Master (NES)
3. Panzer Dragoon (SS)
4. Dragon Quest 1 & 2 (SFC)
5. Rocket Knight Adventures (GEN)
6. Grandia (SS)
7. Resident Evil 2 (DC)
8. Dynamite Deka (SS)
9. Phantasy Star II (MD)
10. Densetsu no Ogre Battle (SS)

Last minute change of Snatcher to Panzer Dragoon. I trust there are no objections.

Next order of business: Platemail bustiers. Are they just for women?

Updates:
1. Golden Sun Dark Dawn (DS) - @ last boss
2. Phantasy Star IV (Genesis Collection - PS2)
3. Return to Castle Wolfenstein (PS2)
4. Killzone (PS2) - In Progress
5. Black (PS2)
6. Area 51 (PS2)
7. Clockwork Knight 2 (Saturn)
8. Panzer Dragoon (Saturn)
9. D (Saturn)

One down! 2 more soon. List might change up. Want to pay neglected consoles attention.

D wins an award for most original horror title IMO. Knowing you have a time limit adds to the stress.

Official List for Summer 2013

Classics
1. Ducktales (NES)
2. Lunar Silver Star Harmony (PSP) - The original is a classic, so this should count. I already started in May and have 3hrs in
3. Shining Force III (Saturn - Its a 60+ hour games and I have 20hrs in so I consider it fair game for this challenge)
4. QuackShot (Gen)
5. Adventures of Batman and Robin (SNES)
6. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (PC)
7. Wonder Boy in Monster World (Gen)

Not Classics that I want to beat before summer ends
8. God of War (PS3 HD)
9. Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions (PS3)
10. Enslaved: Odyssey to the West (PS3)

Unfortunately my Game Gear really needs its capacitors replaced and it's almost unplayable atm, so Shinobi is gonna have to come off of my list. I still have 10 left for the summer, so no big deal, but I might still replace it with Wave Race 64 or Tomb Raider.

I'd say you can safely put God of War in the "classics" column

Nah, a game has to be 10 years old before it can gain the "classic" status. You don't hear MGMT on the classic rock station, do you?

Final List (I think):

1.Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (Dreamcast)
2.Rocket Knight Adventures (Genesis)
3.Mother 2 (SNES) & Mother 3 (GBA)
4.Parodius Da!(Saturn/PSP)
5.Fantasy Zone (???)
6.Super Metroid (SNES)
7.Blaster Master (NES)
8.Super Mario RPG (SNES)
9.Super Mario Bros. (series)
10.Monster Worlf IV (Genesis)

I think this is a pretty solid list, and I'm going to dive in and start playing next month. I've been finding more and more time to enjoy gaming at home and on the go. It's been a real challenge trying to re-incorporate it into my daily life. Here is a brief explanation for some of my choices:

(3)Mother 2/Earthbound - I've gotten to the end of this game several times, but have never actually finished it. I want to finish this game completely before I start Mother 3.

(4)Parodius Da! - Does this really count as a classic? I've been playing Parodius Portable, and absolutely love it. I want to beat it on the Saturn before the summer is up, but I have to get a Saturn first...

(6)Super Metroid - Watched one of my cousins play this game from beginning to end when I was a kid, but never really played it myself. Can't wait to give it a try.

(9)Super Mario Bros. - Plan on sitting down and playing all 2D US releases. I may keep going on, but I don't own any of the games after Mario 64. As long as I can continue to find the games cheap, I'll keep playing them. I want to do the same for the Sonic franchise, but I've played those games so many times...

(10)Not really a "classic", but is a part of the "Wonder Boy" series. I started this one a while back and fell in LOVE. This is 16-bit platforming at it's finest. I really like the look of the game and the music is a real treat to listen to. The game controls beautifully, and not once did I feel like I wasn't in full control of "Asha". There is no cursing the controller out in this game, only my lack of skill.

I don't listen to the radio.

Have you never heard of an "instant classic"?

It makes me incredibly happy to see people with Monster World games in their lists.
