Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Two Zelda: A Link To The Past maps to complete my US boxes for $11 and $13. Not bad considering they don't pop up often and eBay often and when they do they're not under $20. Theres one left and it's $20. I also got a Nintendo Power manual for the same game for $3, only bad part of the deal is it's ...

Re: Who does good PS3 reballing?
Doing this yourself requires you to invest quite a lot of money... - heatgun with adjustable temperature - Motherboard support / clamp (against warping) - reballing stencils - reballing balls (preferably with lead) It's not worth it unless you wanna fix a whole lot of them. I say, bite the bullet a...

Who does good PS3 reballing?
Looking for someone, not just off a Google search, who does good legit reballs. Within reason, money isn't a problem. One guys advertising $89 for a reball which is suspiciously low to me. It had had a stroke a few years back and wouldn't output SD video, and yesterday it RLOD'd on me. I mean, I cou...

Re: New Cheetahmen games, other ultra-rare goodies?
So its just Cheeathmen 1 by itself? Why........would you want to spend any money on that, let alone $400+? Is it some super special bug fix version? I know that Cheethmen 2 got a bug fix overhaul recently on romhacking.org, but the only way to repro it is to use a copy of Action 52 or Cheethmen 2. ...

Re: New Cheetahmen games, other ultra-rare goodies?
From what I've been able to read, this is the Cheetahmen from an Action 52 proto thats had that one game isolated and put on a MMC1 cart. So it's real, not a romhack. It's just that one game isolated on a cart. I'd rather have had the full proto reproduced. Also in their defense, that mapper chip co...

New Cheetahmen games, other ultra-rare goodies?
m Guy claims it's an unreleased proto he's reproducing. The game was supposed to be a prequel. I mean like, i wouldn't put it past Action Enterprises to try to make something like that, but beyond Action 52 and CM2, I'd highly doubt theres more games out there. I'd have to see more proof (which the ...

Re: N64 PSU repair
No no no it's fine, but when the caps do bulge I wanted to know how to get the thing apart because I removed the 4 screws and somethings binding and keeping the cases from separating.

N64 PSU repair
I have the proper driver (not just a bit) to get into them but are there best practices to fix them aside from "recap" or "replace the PSU"? Is it just as simple as a recap? How do I get the actual PCB out of the case it's stuck? Main reason I ask is some day the supply of OEM PS...
