Re: Travel cases for 360, Saturn, other systems

Those look pretty sweet, if a little pricey. Oh, one other question I wanted to ask: part of the reason I'm asking about travel cases is because I'm traveling by air to a summer internship. Does anyone know a way to pack consoles in checked luggage that they trust, or do most people use a travel cas...

Travel cases for 360, Saturn, other systems

I tend to move my consoles around fairly often (friends' houses, vacation, etc.), but I haven't really found a good solution for carrying them. I used to put my Saturn or 360 in a duffle bag, but it would be nice to have it (and my Xbox) in something that keeps it better protected, has more compartm...

Re: Street Fighter III: Anniversary Collection or Online Edition

Thanks for the advice, I went ahead and took the plunge to buy SFIII: Online Edition. I'm digging it so far, it's really fun even though I'm no good. The training modes are excellent, I feel like a boss after parrying Super Arts. Still can't beat Gill at the end of arcade mode though. By the way, wh...

Street Fighter III: Anniversary Collection or Online Edition

Quick question for you all: I tried Street Fighter III a long time ago and was getting really hyped for the Online Edition release. When I downloaded the demo though, I was a little disappointed that the 2D sprite graphics with the filters off didn't seem right. So now I'm trying to decide whether t...

DIY Saturn to Gamecube Converter?

Howdy! I kind of lurk around and make infrequent posts here. I've wanted to try some modding project for a while, but don't have much technical knowledge or skills. Anyway, the project I've been thinking about lately is putting together a converter that will let me use a Saturn pad on Gamecube/Wii f...

Re: Post Your Local/Favorite Indie Game Stores

FX Game Exchange - College Station, TX (also some other Texas locations) m I found this store in a mall directory. I was calling up stores asking if they stocked Sega Saturn gear, and to my surprise, they did! I've gone there a couple times for extra controllers. The guy there said that good Saturn ...

Newbie Rock Band Questions

Howdy! I just got back from 2 years living abroad and so haven't quite caught up with all that's happened in the world of gaming. I saw hype about the new Beatles Rock Band and it looks really sweet. I'd only played Guitar Hero before I left, and so I have a few entry level questions about Rock Band...

Did you ever see http://www.gamesniped.com ? I only found it yesterday, but it looks like it keeps up with the very rarest of eBay gaming auctions. An interesting read, at least. But as far as my own eBay experience, I'm awful at winning things, and only get what I want if I'm really lucky.

It appears that they accidentally included a period at the end of the url before the slash; delete it and you can get into the site. I don't really get what the point is of the download section, but the music sounds groovy, at least!

I think that would be really cool, actually. I like game music a lot, but I only know of the soundtracks from the games I've played and just a few cover bands (some of which I got from a thread here on the forums). So yeah, I'd read it.
