What Your Coolest eBay Gaming Purchase?
What Your Coolest eBay Gaming Purchase?
Even though I got my Saturn and first batch of games on eBay, I think my coolest purchase that comes to my mind is a tall stack of miscellaneous gaming magazines for only about $40.
There were tons of old GamePros, EGMs, Sega Visions, Nintendo Power, some obscure TG16 mags and such. I have no idea how not that many people bid on it. It was really a great deal and I have yet to browse through them all.
What are some of the best deals or most unique gaming items you've bought on eBay?

I guess it would be my complete mint copy of Hoshi no Kirby for Famicom with a working battery. $20 BIN. That's not too special though...I guess you could say the experience of getting a famicom adapter for my NES was more interesting. I was scouring eBay for Gyromites, seeing if I could tell which had an adaptor and when asking a seller about one of the details an adaptor version of gyromite may have, he actually had a TI-98 adapter. It works great and I got it for less than $5.

I thought it was a PC Engine Duo with Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and 3 other games. Unfortunately, it was a pirated copy of Rondo. I got a refund and I'm shipping it back tomorrow.
I don't want to bring the thread down, so I guess my favorite was my Japanese Saturn Victor. It was already a great buy on it's own. Then one day I tried to put my modchip from my other Saturn in it, but when I opened it up it was already modded!

I got on December 31 2006 exactly midnight a genny a sega cd a 32x with all the cords 3 controllers 2 six button, 1 3 button. Everything working perfectly and 25 32x games. It was for $96 including shipping. And my shipping is always more expensive. A few of the games included Virtua racing, Star Wars, Doom, Knuckles Chaotix, Kolibri, MKII, I dont remember the rest. Oh yeah I forgot I got a working game gear for $6 (including shipping but man that thing took a month to get here) the guy said it didnt had a game to test it and when it came I just pluged my old adapter a game and bam it worked and its still workin.
