hey guys, after a several year hiatus, i'm getting back into retro consoles. This place looks like a pretty active community, but are there any other sites and forums to recommend? Maybe for Sega fans? How about buying and trading -- where should I go for that?

In my humble judgement, there is most likely a repair solution here. I don't think it's bricked, lots of people have had a problem with getting the drive spinning, including me. In my case, I just had to clean the lens and if I recall correctly, I had to move the laser just a teeny tiny bit. If your...

maybe i'm wrong, but wouldn't we be able to see in the pix he posted if it is needs to be filed down? i don't think i've ever had to do that
