Dreamcast platformers?
Hey, can anyone recommend maybe three great Dreamcast 2D platformers? I've been searching everywhere, but I really cant' seem to find any. Were there any good 2D platformers for the DC at all?

Yeah, those are great and all -- but what about 2D side-scrolling platformers? And not just shooters either. You know, some kind of old school platforming --- mario, etc.

You mean Rayman 2
Re: Dreamcast platformers?
The dreamcast's greatest flaw in my eyes is its lack of platformers in general.
Best you can do for 2D side scrolling is emulation from older consoles.

The only one I can think of is Chakan a 2D Platformer game which was cancelled before it was released. Im not sure if was in 2D but is listed on Game faq as a 2D platformer. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

There's also Napple Tale. Barely tried it, but I heard it's great if you can accept it's heavily feminine style. Also, Yoko fucking Kanno.

That is really a shame to hear. No homebrew? Non-commercial? Anything?

Re: Dreamcast platformers?
basically, when your best proper platforming game is seriously called something as awesome as "napple tale," you've got a problem.
