I think these games are awesome. It is an rpg but battle is zelda-esque...battle is a little odd though, you have to walk into enemies to injure them, there is not an attack button.
I recommend the TurboCD version, which is book 1 and 2 as well.
The master system version is book 1 only.

i ordered the battery too. 10 bucks is cheap enough and free ship. The info on how to mod the battery is just too all over the place.
