Re: CRT TV Question
You cant go wrong with a Wega like many people mentioned earlier. I personally prefer a vertical flat, horizontal curved screen as there is little modification to the natural overscan that the consoles account for. I find that gaming on a Wega (I had a 34KV800 prior to my house burning down), looked...

Re: University/College
I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BS in Chemical Engineering and am hoping to pursue a MS in Mechanical Engineering this fall at Purdue. Like some others here, I spent time at a community college before going to a full-scale university. It was nice as my high school (I ...

Re: Laptop Suggestions
The Lenovo thinkpad Edge sounds like what you need. The screen is 13.3 inches but everything else is spot on! Good luck!

Re: My house burned down :(
Yeap, that was my house I will probably be parting with all NES and Dreamcast stuff for now. My PS2 was rescued, and all my games were spared (thats what I get for keeping them in a closet!). Unfortunately my systems (NES, Dreamcast, SNES, PS3) were crushed by my 34" CRT as the ceiling caved in...

My house burned down :(
Hey everyone. Last night at 4:58PM my house burned down. I was the only one home at the time and was able to escape with no injury, besides slipping on the pavement and hurting my hand. I am going back in today to see what I can salvage, but I will probably be selling any of my video games that are ...

Re: another LCD vs. Plasma
How big do you want to go? If its over 50" I say get a plasma, but under its LCD realm all the way. I like plasma color and it has a super high 600hz refresh, but it is also really energy intensive! Either option will be great for either system you proposed though!

Re: Girlfriend left me for my best friend after four years
Hey everyone! I thought I would just touch base with everyone that got involved in this thread (which seemed to be every racketboy member!). I am now doing fine, Ive moved on with my life, started volunteering, spending lots of time with friends, and how did it pay off? I met a smart, beautiful, hil...
