Re: Air Conditioner , cheapest way to use it ?

Air conditioners are inherently very inefficient machines, but operate most efficiently when on high speed. Letting the room get warmer and then turning it on high will be the most efficient way to use it. The higher the compressor speed and the warmer the air entering the air conditioner is, the mo...

Re: Sega CDX Repair Suggestions

This may not be relevant, but make sure your using the right power adapter. I used to use my CDX with a model 2 genesis adapter and games would kind of glich out every now and then. Once i got the actual CDX adapter I didn't have any more issues. The CDX adapters are real expensive and hard to come ...

Re: Klonoa questions

In response to the original question about unlockable extra hard stages in Klonoa games, Klonoa 2 on the PS2 has a couple of these stages. If I remember right, you had to collect all the things in each stage to unlock them, and there were only two of them. I do remember them being the funnest part o...

Re: SRPGs (or TRPGs) you've known and loved.

SRPG's are my favorite genre, and the one game I love that doesn't get a lot of love elsewhere is Vanguard Bandits. Working Designs characters with mech combat.

Re: What's the best strategy game you've played?

Vanguard Bandits for the PS1 is one SRPG i really enjoyed that no one else seemed to mention. Its got people fighting in giant mech's with swords, spears, and axes, a bunch of characters with unique personalities to recruit, and 3 different story lines (2 of which are pretty similar through.) Its no...

Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!

I can definitely agree with you guys on the Genesis being where it was at. I had Sega Channel as a kid and that meant that the SNES almost never got touched. BogusMeat, in response to your comments, I can say i didn't take great care of a lot of my stuff either as a child, and as a result almost all...

Re: Lookng for Infomation on Sony PSX (Not PS1)

Thanks for the links, there was some good info in there. I must have somehow overlooked that Wikipedia one. Its good to know it works with the standard American PS2 hook ups, it gets hard to tell with the pictures. This seems like the best looking way to get into Japanese PS1/2 games, way better tha...

Lookng for Infomation on Sony PSX (Not PS1)

To be clear, I am talking about the Japanese Sony PSX, not just a standard PS1. I am trying to find some info on it, but google is making it hard because for some reason people like to refer to the PS1 as the PSX. Never really understood that. I know this has a PS2 built into it, but does it have al...
