Because I bought the 360 HD-DVD player and HD-DVD got whupped Amazon gave me a $50 credit. Woo! So I bought this book and On the Edge: the Spectacular Rise and Fall of Commodore, a book I can't believe exists, much less a 500+ page hardcover.

There are great games for both systems. Most of Nintendo's games, in fact, are good. It's the third party games that suck, mostly on the Wii. Let me add to it:
Cutscenes you can't skip. Cutscenes that are, no exaggeration, as long as 45 minutes that you can't skip!

That said the storyline and battle system made it worth it.

I have a few figurines from anime and video games. It's not something that's worth much money to me, though, so I don't have many and there are a lot I won't buy. A quick check of play-asia can tell you the sky is the limit for those things. Eek.

The Wii is getting to be possibly the worst system ever in terms of percentage of good games versus crap games.

There are good ones, though: Super Mario Galaxy, WarioWare, Elebits, Trauma Center, Excite Truck - more of the earlier games oddly enough.
