Wow. That's just...wow.

One exploding head and you get an M rating. Doesn't that get us a PG or PG-13 film? What idiot rates these titles? Raiders of the Lost Ark had a guy's freaking face melt off and it earned a PG rating! Who's the freaking jackass who decided that that was a good rating? What is this crap?! This is absolutely retarded.

I'm trying not to start cursing every other word...Racket wants us to keep it clean.

Hey Racketboy. I was just wondering if there is a filter program to censor some of th language in this forum. I don't mind and do try my best to use proper language as much as possible, but I do worry about some of the younger members, i.e. some 14 years old in here.

Anyway, rated M is a bit extreme. However, due to the sensitivity of the Rating System after the Hot Coffee Fiasco, I guess I am not surprised. However, I still think they need to redo that rating system because it sux.

I am sincerely concerned, but at the same time I feel like I shouldn't have to stop and think of what to and what not to write, because that is what I have been doing since I've found out that there are underaged members on this forum. Before, I have only known of one member that is 18 years old. Now, I heard that there is someone who is 14, so I am a bit concerned. So to answer your question, NO, I am not trying to be sarcastic. Just trying to be a productive member of the forum, that's all.

No censors, but I do have a request to keep things relatively clean.
If I see language get out of hand, I may clean things up myself, but everyone has been pretty good compared to most places.
Personally, I'm not much swearing -- I may let a few words slip on occasions that deserve them, but it's rare.

It's probably the exploding head coupled with the fact that you have to shoot people through the whole game, and probably some of the more "mature" political undertones.
I don't know, it seems like there is much more graphic violence on tv....but ok.

How is the Wii virtual console going to verify the age of the person buying this game?

The original is not coming to VC :( . This is Bionic Commando Rearmed, which looks real sweet and will be coming to PS3, 360, and PC (which is my choice). And I do believe both PSN, Xbox live, and Steam (only one I can 100% vouch for) all do age verification.
