Finally got a job! I get to write sports summaries for the local newspaper. It's part-time, but I'll take it over Wal-Mart or McDonalds. Plus, it works around my school schedule quite nicely.

I passed by a thrift store today, and came across an older model 360 with power cord and AV cables for $19.54. The disc drive is a little finicky, but otherwise, it powers up just fine, no serious error codes. Got a HDD and a controller elsewhere so I could use my new system.

I've seen scummy moves at my local game shop. Besides obscenely high prices, they passed off a counterfeit Pokemon Emerald (complete with black cart and cruddy labeling) as a "Japanese import". Priced at $70. The wosrt part about it is that someone apparently purchased it.
