At least I didn't list the third title in that section, although "find its groove in Up Your Arsenal" isn't much better. When it's 11 at night on video game forum, double entendres aren't exactly on my mind.

I ought to post my own list of game beaten. I haven't really kept track of this sort of thing, but I'll see what I come up with.

Batman: Arkham Asylum (360)
Mega Man 5 (NES)
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts (360)
Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES)
Super Mario World (Wii U VC)
Sakura Samurai (3DS eShop)
Dark Void Zero (3DS eShop)
Fable II (360)
Pokémon Black (DS)
Kirby's Return to Dream Land (Wii)
Lego City Undercover (Wii U)
Gears of War (360)
Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
Super Mario Sunshine (GCN)
Super Mario 3D Land (3DS)
Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 (3DS VC)
Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racoonus (PS3)
Sly 2: Band of Thieves (PS3)
Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves (PS3)
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (PS3)
Ratchet & Clank (PS3)
Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando (PS3)
Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal (PS3)
Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction (PS3)
Crash Bandicoot (PSN)
Spyro the Dragon (PSN)
New Super Luigi U (Wii U)

Count: 27

Hmm, not enough Genesis or SNES in there. I should fix that before school resumes in a month.

Just Finished Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and have to say that it is pretty disappointed. completely the first in the series and immediately moving on to the second may have been a huge disadvantage to enjoying the game. I found the enemies to be horrifically redundant, having almost the exact same style as enemies from the first i.e. normal soldiers, ones with helmets, ones with combat armor etc.

Another disappointment was the pacing of the game. It was almost exactly like the first, beat for beat. The constant back and forth between the antagonist and protagonist attempting to uncover the secret, the supernatural twists happening at exactly the same time. It feels like there is a formula that they stick to that just lacks imagination. At no point did I feel like there was any natural order to how things went.

The biggest issue I had with the game was the platforming. There were so many instances where you did not know where you were supposed to go. Wandering the environment to find the ambiguous jutting of rock on a wall to climb on to does not make for good level design. In the first, it was clear what you could climb on to and interact with. With the sequel it blended in too well and made finding where you need to go or what you needed to do that much more difficult.

The game isn't bad. It is a solid game, but it lacks imagination. It could be worse though, it could be like the first and have the boss battle be one big QTE.

Wow, you may be the first person who doesn't think the second game is the best in the series. I did them back to back (1 and 2) and thought 2 took everything the first did and just 1 upped it.

There were some memorable moments, don't get me wrong. I think the big draw was just the visual upgrade. The scenery was excellent and there was a great sense of scale. The world seemed enormous around you. That was all that really got me.

Also, what was up with the butt fetish the developers had. It was all, "Butt-this, butt-that, butt butt butt." It was kinda weird.

42. Saint's Row IV (Steam) - 8/28

I finished up SR4 tonight at 97% completion, as I couldn't justify spending the time to complete some of the super grindy challenges (especially when I have Killer Is Dead waiting).

I went in a little apprehensive. Not because I don't like Saint's Row games, because I do. A lot. But watching preview videos I couldn't help but worry that being too powerful in a video game can quickly become boring. Plus with all the THQ drama and developer trading going on earlier this year I worried a little about it affecting development.

I was completely wrong. Saint's 4 is just as good as 3, if not better. The writing is hilarious, the variety in gameplay is abundant and messing around in Steelport with super powers was far more fun than Infamous or Prototype ever was. A must-play for any action, open-world or Saint's Row fans.

Final Score: 40400

Complete: Beat every boss on every level without losing a single life.

Man, I still love this game (despite what others may think of it). The slow pace of Godzilla marching through the cities. the power-ups, the Kaiju, the battle-system, and the music. The only thing I'm not too fond of are the long cut-scenes during battle, which I'm actually quite thankful for during the last battle. Here's my quick run-down on the main battles.

King Ghidorah: Great introductory battle. Godzilla's most popular rival Kaiju, and he isn't too hard to find nor fight. The ending of the battle is great and sets up for a later plot point.

Mechagodzilla: This level had a clever way of showing off the "Mother Ship" battles to reduce the number of enemies on a stage. The main battle with Mechagodzilla was great, especially the very beginning. This is the also the first time you see that weaknesses and strengths from the movies are present in the game.

Biollante: Possibly one of the most disappointing battles in the game, but still enjoyable. My only real disappointment was the lack of Biollante's first stage. Biollante is tough, and deals out tons of damage. Be prepared with some capsules as you'll probably need them.

Battra: More weaknesses/strengths show through this battle, as only certain moves can even hit the speedy Battra. Another pretty tough battle, and another you should have capsules prepared for. Luckily, this stage has power-up stations places strategically, so if you pay attention, you can get through with no problems. The second part of this battle also pulls from the movies and makes me happy. Take the slow route and avoid damage, but possibly miss your chance or take the fast route and sustain tons of damage? Your previous battle may affect your decision here.

Mecha-King Ghidorah: Man, this battle is tough! This is easily the hardest stage in the game with new mechanics that make you think twice about your previous strategies. There's also no way to avoid destroying half of Tokyo trying to get to the fight. You're presented with a lot of options here, but I went straight for the kill. Doing so means I was greatly overpowered, and it's actually extremely difficult to defeat this menacing mechanical beast.Nearly dying several times, I finally slayed what was seemingly the final boss.

Bagan: What's this!? A new Kaiju? Godzilla/Toho fans will recognize the name from many scrapped projects. Bagan finally gets to make his appearance, and it's in one of my favorite games. Shame he will never be seen again, as he is such a formidable foe. Before fighting the final fight, you will upgrade to "Super Godzilla". Godzilla will receive a new kick ass look along with a ton of new powers at your disposal. The cut-scenes in this battle are enjoyable to watch and show off the true power of these two Kaiju. This battle seems the most fair and even out of all the others. Each blow is filled with power, and there doesn't seem to be any cheap shots here. Beating Bagan is well deserved and leaves you with a feeling of accomplishment.

tl;dr: I'm a fanboy and can't help it.

jinx, did you ever play Godzilla Domination on GBA? It's awesome. Basically King of the Monsters but with licensed Kaiju.

Yup! It was one of my very first GBA games and I loved it. I grew up playing King of the Monsters on SNES and always wanted to have Toho Kiaju in it. It was really fun, but needed more playable kaiju.

I've actually been poking around trying to find one cheap. They seem to go for around $20+, which isn't too bad, but I'm on a budget right now. :P

EDIT:
http://gelide.sourceforge.net/index.php ... ut&lang=en
This is what I use as a frontend for all of my games and it works pretty well. Looks like you're right with the 3DO and CD-i thing. If there was an emulator for it, it would probably listed in Gelide. I'll keep digging though.
