to answer the OP:

You should buy the PS4 so you can post a picture of an MSRP purchase in the "look what I found" thread and then double post it a few minutes later in the "games acquired 2013" thread.

YES IT IS FAIR BECAUSE ITS A BLOODY CONTROLLER. Oh my gosh. You can not like how it looks all you like but to dismiss something you have to hold in your hand to even have a true well informed opinion about is absurd.

Back on topic: Buying a console at launch is both stupid and fun. I wouldn't advise for or against it at this point. It's really up to whether you want something right when its new and shiny or not.

I'v seen the controller, do I actually have to hold it in my hands to say I don't like it? That's not really fair now is it? I'v made valid points before, you just don't think so. I never said because i'm a woman people argue with me. The only reason I brought up I was a female was because it's been proven that female brains develop faster, or did you not read that part? I don't say stupid stuff all the time. I might make mistakes, that's called being human. I wouldn't outright say I say stupid stuff ALL THE TIME.

Here: I like the N64. Was that stupid?

And of course as soon as I think people are going to stop attacking me some jackass comes out and attacks me.

How do you know how it feels if you have never held it? It's a extremely comfy controller.
And why does it matter that the female brain develops faster? I know plenty of stupid girls and guys. It has nothing to do with anything.

All right...drive over here and put one in my hands, I'll say it's a piece of crap then and will you all be happy with that?

It LOOKS big and clunky. I hate big and clunky controllers (original fat Xbox controller, N64 controller, DC controller). I'm not going to hold one because I don't know anyone with a Wii U, I'm not going to buy a Wii U and I won't go to GS or a store just to hold a Wii U controller. That's why I'm basing it all on looks.

http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com ... 600-26.jpg I mean look at it! It's a freaking white square with a screen and some buttons slapped on it. What a fucking amazing controller.

It doesn't look comfortable to hold to me ^ see above picture. I was saying that because someone brought up my age and that "in a few years" I'll see how stupid I sound.

It's one of the most comfortable controllers I've held. I didn't think it would be comfy till I held one.

Oh I like Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart DS. I haven't had much luck finding good games for the DS...it's all kids selling off their crappy kid games. I think the Mario Kart DS is freaking amazing actually...but it's been years since I played a Mario Kart game so lol...I'm trying to get good games for the damn thing but...no luck.

For the DS, New Super Mario Bros., Kirby Super Star Ultra and Kirby Squeak Squad should be up your alley. While I haven't played Squeak Squad myself, all of them have traditional control schemes with limited touch control. If you're willing to put up with extensive controls, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is at least worth a look. It's weird at first playing the entire thing with the stylus, but most of the standard Zelda tropes are in the game.

As for the Wii, if you haven't played Super Mario Galaxy yet, do so. It's only $20 new, and if you like any Mario game, you should like Galaxy as well. There are a number of stars that require motion control and a shake is used for Mario's melee attack, but it's usually quite responsive and doesn't interfere with the game. New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Kirby's Epic Yarn/Return to Dream Land are also good picks. Solid 2D platforming form both games with limited motion control.

Give the DS and Wii a fair shake before writing it off. You may be surprised with what you'll find.

On-topic: I'm considering a PS4. Killzone and Knack are the only things that are appealing to me at this point though. If a new Sly game is officially announced, then I just might bite.

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective and Phoenix Wright series are great.
And the Ace Combat series.
And Fire Eblem.
And Professor Layton.
Jump! Ultimate Stars is a good import game.
Kirby Squeak Squad is great, so is SSU.

just stop

I'm going to stop you right here: Dsh was making a joke about the posting habits of certain members here. He was in no way actually encouraging people to post your purchases in five different threads.

New Super Mario Bros? So what it's Super Mario Bros but updated? Odd...but ok. I like most Zelda games so even if it's heavy stylus use...I'll try it at least. If I find it cheap lol.

I'v been wanting to try Super Mario Galaxy, from what i'v seen of it, it looks fun as hell. But 20 bucks isn't cheap...20 bucks is usually all I have to spend on games, so I would rather walk away with a stack of games then a single game. Maybe if some fool is selling it for 5 bucks or I happen to have some extra cash...till then I'm not getting it.

I'm trying to give the DS a chance but it's hard...I really come across some shit piles when looking for DS games. The Wii...some games are fun on it but the motion control is just a deal breaker for me...I'll never get over it so it ruins the system for me.
