Standout NES/SNES

Hey yall, newbie here. Im trying to compile a definitive list of standout games for NES and SNES across all genres. I saw the lists here on the site but wanted to get in depth opinions from you guys on what you think is the best of the best and best of the rest. It seems like SNES is a haven for caveman mascot platformers and weird animals that are a force for ninja style justice. Are they any good or do they simply blend in with the others? Also while we're at it which games arent worth our time? Thanks so much for your help

Thanks! I checked it out and i already have most of what i saw listed. Battletoads seems to be on everyones list.
