Saturn- Die Hard Trilogy or Arcade?

Post by Gooseberrysoda »

On the saturn, which is the better game? I'm not so interested in the light gun bits of the second part of Trilogy. I need some hot action though

Arcade for sure. It's my favorite beat em up on the Saturn.

Trilogy is fun but can found cheaper on PSX (although I pick SS 9/10 time). If you don't mind dropping the money, arcade is great.

You can hit enemies with mops IIRC lol!

I haven't played Die Hard Trilogy, but Die Hard Arcade is tremendous fun. it's easy to pick up and play, it's outrageous, and if you don't want to make a commitment, you can earn credits by playing Deep Scan. :D

Dynamite Deka (aka DH Arcade) is solid arcade goodness. Dynamite Deka 2 is Dynamite Cop on the Dreamcast.

DHT is still pretty good though, but frustratingly difficult in spots. The only game I happened to beat on that is the shooting game (DH2) on the PS1.

Die Hard Trilogy is awful, imo. i think the first section (Die Hard) is about the only tolerable part. the shooting section seemed really way too simple, and the racing controls in the With A Vengeance section are so loose that you find yourself crashing the cab into just about everything. plus the voice actor they got to play Samuel L. Jackson...oof...

Die Hard Trilogy 2, only released on PSone, is even worse though.

Omg dinamite cop 2 on the dreamcast is so absurdly awesome. It really is an underrated game, far better than the first one. Its a hilarious game to play with friends, pure arcade fun. A true hidden gem.

Is that a bomb?????

DHT2 put *all* the sections from the first together into one game. You can only imagine how that went.

Die Hard Arcade, bar none. It's the best of the Die Hard games by quite a far margin, and is all awesome quarter sucking cheese.
