Your top 3 rpgs for the Wii

Post by christopher85 »

So I'm finally deciding to put this "buy 2 games get 1 free" coupon to good use and want to invest in some Rpgs. So, if you had to pick 3 (preferably cheap) rpgs for the Wii what would they be? Thanks for the help.

Cheap? That's an issue. The Wii RPGs are some of the higher prices Wii titles.

You could look into Little King's Story, Opona, Arc Rise, Rune Factory, and Muramasa is RPG-ish.

Xenoblade and Last Story are kind of the definitive RPGs for the system ... but neither is particularly cheap (Xenoblade has only gone up in price. Last Story is getting a price reduced reprint)

There's also Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, but again, not cheap. (it's also a tactics game, not sure if that's what you're looking for)

I have not played any RPG's on the Wii, but I here Super Paper Mario is worth checking out, especially if you have played any of the other Mario RPG titles and it is pretty cheap compared to Last Story and Xenoblade.
Need Hexyz Force and Class of Heroes 2 for a complete PSP RPG Set.....let me know your price!!!!

I agree with all of the above mentioned, but also think Dokopon Kingdom should be added to the list. It is a great Mario Party RPG hybrid that is such a blast to play and can last a LONG time.

Baten Kaitos Origins if your Wii has GC ports.
Substitute Fragile Dreams if it doesn't

Then Last Story and Opoona.

Mix in Ogre Battle 64 / Phantasy Star IV / Chrono Trigger if you want some VC.

Check out Rune Factory Frontier or Monster Hunter if you want grindy games that could be extended for a really long time. Same applies to Xenoblade.

Anyone enjoy Fragile Dreams? I've been considering picking it up. Looks like a dark, horror RPG on Wii.

I can't really recommend Dokapon Kingdom. It's long, slow and combat uses a rock, paper, scissors system where rock does is practically useless.

Buy a boardgame instead :)
