I'm getting closer there. That's 9, though I'm not necessarily married to all of them yet. But it's close. Comments, help, suggestions? What am I missing genre-wise? I like to keep it diverse.
A Rhythm or Puzzle game perhaps?

can you 'beat' Space Channel 5? If so that's one I've wanted an excuse to get into for years. If you remember I really pushed for it for TR for two years in a row.

You can. There are 5 missions total, and it's pretty short. The last mission is a toughie though.

...that said, I feel like this is a pretty solid list:

Beats of Rage
Eternal Champions
Eye of the Beholder
Hexen
I Have No Mouth
Nights Into Dreams
Panzer Dragoon
Space Channel 5
Tomb Raider
Wipeout

...my reservations:

Beats of Rage - mainly cuz it's not a 'classic.' Though it is a classic in the homebrew scene for sure. It was what led to a flood of homebrew beat-em-ups based on BOR. And I think it's been on my 'maybe' list for Summer Gaming for 3 years in a row now. So I guess I'm just looking for that reason to play through it.

Eternal Champs - again, not a 'classic' but certainly a cult classic. I admit that Virtua Fighter(s) would be more classic and I'm also not experienced with. BUT, I'm more drawn to the style of EC, and I have played Fighting Vipers and Fighters Megamix, both of which were based on the VF engine so I'm not expecting it to be totally new to me.

All in all, it seems like a fairly solid list - and all games I'm excited to try - made up of a good mix of genres.

This is a very solid list, noise. I think you will be very pleased with Nights, Panzer Dragoon, and Space Channel 5. Those are some of my favorite games.

Well I have a tentative list put together, though its not yet complete. As always, I'm open to suggestions to fill the last spots.

1. Demon's Crest - SNES
As much as I love this game, I've actually never beaten it. Time to change that.
2. Sonic Pocket Adventure - NGPC
Its shameful that I haven't beaten this one. I need to buy an NGPC though, but then its on.
3. Harvest Moon GBC - GBC
Just got this. Its shorter as Harvest Moon goes, and I've never played it.
4. Panzer Dragoon - Saturn
Noise's list reminded me of this one. I sat down to play it a few months back and never finished.
5. Shadowrun - Genesis
Always wanted to play this. I tried it out on Fusion last night and its gonna be good. If I'm lucky, it might overlap with RPG of the month.
6. Technoclash - Genesis
I grabbed a copy because it looks cool. On the list it goes!
7. Ys 3: Wanderers from Ys - Genesis
I want to play Ys. I want to play Ys on the Genesis. Done deal.
8. Heretic - PC
Leftover from last year. I'm still not really in the mood for it, and this will probably change.
9. ?
10. ?

So that's where I'm at right now.

Hey I'll join you on this one. They're putting it on the 3DS eshop sometime this month and I was planning on getting a digital copy.

A list of 10 will be ambious for me bc I'm in RPG mode! I'll have to add some arcade like titles.

Definitely finishing Phantasy Star IV. Been considering TMNT Arcade Attack on DS. I'll put together a list soon!

If May counts, I'll beat Golden Sun Dark Dawn this week :)
