If you fear spray tans, gym rats, steroids, Percocets and all derivatives, house music, the word "bro" used consistently, and duck face selfies, then yes I live in a dangerous place.
If not then its relatively harmless. But there is always a line one should not cross. Never cross that line.
Is it dangerous where you live?

I live in one of the sketchier parts of Vermont, which means it's actually quite safe.

Oh I'm not interested in having a concealed weapon. Your Texas anecdotes are somewhat amusing to me, because in this part of the country a person carrying a weapon would be considered paranoid, threatening, or a wannabe tough-guy. It's certainly frowned upon.Jagosaurus wrote: Checks Maine's carry laws on NRAs site.
I've just been casually looking at guns lately. I'm a bit lazy because I already have guns in the house, but they belong to the landlord (my father-in-law) and they stay when I move. I'll need one in my name eventually, that's all.

Oh there are plenty of us in Texas that think that of some of our neighbors that are carrying are many of those things too. Not all, but certainly more than a handful.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Your Texas anecdotes are somewhat amusing to me, because in this part of the country a person carrying a weapon would be considered paranoid, threatening, or a wannabe tough-guy. There are some states, Arizona comes to mind, with the same culture & even more relaxed gun laws. No concealed license necessary in AZ.Hobie-wan wrote:BoneSnapDeez wrote:Your Texas anecdotes are somewhat amusing to me, because in this part of the country a person carrying a weapon would be considered paranoid, threatening, or a wannabe tough-guy. Yeah, I'm 100% Cajun & a Texas... with that mix I was raised around guns lol hunting at 8 years old. Most important thing my dad taught me though... Firearms need to be respected, absolutely. My wife took a handgun 101 class on my recommendation BC she felt uncomfortable around pistols. I'm a big gun enthusiast & a typical Texan when it comes to firearms but I'm safe.
On a lighter note

I live in a place surrounded by mountains and guarded by treacherous roads over those mountains. I have already figured out where the zombie holocaust will come from and fortified it. If the zombies do not come at least I have a stash of Chicken Haddie (doesn't cost that much)

I've played the song the last 2 times I went through the pass. Canada truly has one road sometimes.

Done that. My patio door is not locked unless someone else does it, and then I need to find the key-keeper rock or I have to jump through the one window that doesn't have a stick.

Yeah, that's probably -9, but if I had a camera up north...

Anapan, it was established by the book World War Z that zombies freeze in the cold, making Canada one of the safest places on Earth.
That said, you guys have really shitty alcohol laws.
