Oh, nice, you've got the official guide for it? I always wanted to order that, but never was able to. That's worth some pretty good money, actually.

And yeah, $40 isn't too bad at all for cart-only.

For the record, I've got no problems with emulation, either. In fact, I dare say it's the reason I own half of what I do, anyway. Got to try out gems that I never would have bought otherwise. I can't argue much in my favor for the GBA days, I was using a flash cart then, but when the DS rolled around I started using it to test games, and bought what I liked. Still catching up, though! Just not enough money or time. You know, I think beating pretty much all the NES games is an achievable goal, modern games, not so much.

Yeah probably so. Sure there's like 770~ NES games, less if you want to ignore the almost entirely all trash unlicensed stuff (tengen is good.) These new systems tend to have at least a 1000 games and few are really what you could call pick up and play stuff that can be knocked off in under an hour.

I had a few GBA kits over the years and one GB/GBC kit too. They're handy for piracy, testing, and homebrew junk too along with emulators. Mostly for GBA I ended up using it for PocketNES and GoombaColor along with a few Japanese games.

Also on the Sega Collection for PS2, PSP, PS3 (360?)... which can be grabbed for $10 & you don't have to worry about that save battery failing :)

Been thinking about it and did a little list mining and this stuff came to mind as things I think I wouldn't mind having around again. I know the list lacks some Sega favorites, but I've never been huge on Sega-Treasure titles, or some of the other usual go-to notables. Now all I'm trying to figure out is before I start jumping in, to I want to take a beating on some of these and get them complete or just get the cart as I want to be uniform on them all. The carts are not much off the complete for some, while others can get pretty annoying price wise complete versus loose (2x or more the cost.)

Castlevania Bloodlines

From a collector's point of view though, $20 is very reasonable if we're not talking about cart only.

Yeah, it's certainly still a fair price for cart only. Thinking about it, $20 for the box and cart would have been too good to be true.
