I like bootleg stuff as long as ppl aren't trying to sell it premium retail prices.

Whats that MP3 module do? Allow playback of MP3 CDs? Would be very cool if it stored MP3S via a PC connection

Stuff like this is always a little bit interesting. Kinda like those pirate expansion ports for the N64 that allow you to pirate games. Personally I like the fact that these for PS1 look 'legit' in that they use the same color plastic and everything. It's different, it's interesting, and provides a different way to play, I'd say.
Collects promo gaming stuff, certain import games, hockey memorabilia, and other oddball things. (sig and avy under construction)

Very interesting stuff to see. I love seeing oddball accessories. Do the X Gem games run on stock Xboxes or only on modded ones? I recall seeing an X Gem game (Soul Cal II? Not sure.), but didn't pick it up.

I remember getting a PSone system with a bunch of games, including JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, years back. The listing on CL showed a Pocket Fighter as well, but when I bought it, I didn't check the games. Sure enough, PF was a fake, but with an original manual and case insert :?

This is what I picked up today at the fleamarket!

$8.00 got me: Pirates The Legend of Black Kat PS2, Bolt Wii, Cooking Mama Cook Off Wii, and some music CD's- The Future Sound of London and some other trance CD.
I also found Rayman Raving Rabbids Wii for $4.00. Then I found both for $5.00: Jade Empire Xbox and King Arthur Xbox.

For $5.00 again, I found Firefly Complete series on a 4 disc set, The first Season of a syfy show called Sanctuary and Beavis and Butthead Do America Soundtrack.

Random stuff I got from different sellers: Logitech Analog PC controller: $3.00, Super Monkeyball Step and Roll Wii $1.00, Home Alone 2 NES $1.00, Frogger PS1 $1.00, Namco Museum GBA $2.00, Fist of the Northstar Vol 01 anime $0.50, and two X-factor comics for $1.00
Not bad if I may say so myself!

Dude, you got Firefly and Fist of the North Star. I enjoy your taste in DVDs. If you haven't already, watch Firefly now. It's one of those shows that makes you fall in love with each and every character.

By the way, that Beavis and Butthead soundtrack is the only CD ever released that features both the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Engelbert Humperdinck. That's your bit of pop music trivia for today.

Thanks Samson.

I've seen firefly already. I used to have a bigger box set. Way different from the one in the picture. This time around its a more basic set.

I sold my copy years ago at F.Y.E. for store credit. It's nice to have it again.

I do believe the beavis and butthead cd is also a variant. I remember seeing the cover differently back in the day but I could be wrong.

Yep. As well as a cheat code enabler, and Memory Card manager.

The other module (GAMARS) is probably more well known.
It runs all those fake PS1 games without any issues.
Functions pretty decently as a VCD enabler as well.

Tried them on my two stock units. No dice.
So yeah those discs only work on my modded oXbox.

Spent the last day and a half in phoenix arizona. Helping my sister move there. After a long hard day of loading and unloading. My sister and I had a few hours before we headed back home. So we went to this nice big fleamarket. Ended up getting some plastic discs we all know and love!

Image

Tried haggling with a lady on her blurays and we made an agreement. She wanted $18 for indiana jones complete collection and $12 for the diehard collection. I offered her $25 but she said $27, and we agreed on that.

I saw lots of sellers with a bunch of videogames too. I took a look through a lot of discs and I found a seller with some nice stuff. I was happy the guy was willing to negotiate too. He had some games marked for $10 and others for $7. I grabbed four PS2 games and he charged me $30 for all of them: Sega Classics Collection, Bloody Roar 3, Batman Rise of Sin Tzu and King of Fighters XI.

Time was running short and we had to make the three hour drive back to my homebase and I went to one more seller. For $13 I got two PS2 games: Neo Contra and Guilty Gear X2.:D . I have another guilty gear in my collection and the neo contra is replacing my disc only copy.

On to the drive home. Three+ hours of desert driving! But I made it back to cali.

I had an itch I needed to scratch. I couldn't go to any gamestops in phoenix (not enough time :( ). So when I made it back to the imperial valley (where I live) I went to the gamestop in calexico. I found a limited edition Naurto game with a metal case for $11.69 and Max payne 3 for 360 for $4.49. And right there is a single volume of some old 90's anime Vampire princess Miyu. Got it for a dollar at the fleamarket nearby a couple of days ago. Just wanted to throw it in to the picture. Working on getting the rest of them. I think I have three more of them.
