Re: Games Acquired 2015
@Fragems, loving the pickups (Decap Attack & Rocket Knight are amazing) but have you considered keeping an excel spreadsheet to track your pickups with funds in/out & posting once at end of month versus each time you buy something? Perhaps twice a month, mid-month & EOM, considering the volume. You've posted your total list 5 times in May already & it's only the 12th :/ seems youre using the thread to track versus to share.

Yeah I might swap over to doing that really moved from posting in the Look What I Found thread to posting just over here
. Might start just editing my post as I go to keep track as opposed to reposting so frequently. Now that I have steady work I've been going out a lot more then I used to. Plus since I'm on call all week but only have guaranteed work on Saturdays I have a lot of free time at the moment
.

Jealous of the free time lol.
Yeah, my volume of pickups has been down the past few months due to our new addition to the family
but I need to start using that thread when I make individual exciting finds. One of my favorite threads along with this one to follow!

Got a CIB copy of Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle for $12 shipped. I'll take it.
Also got a CIB copy of Great Volleyball for the SMS for $11. Not a great deal but it seems like the only game in the "Great" series that you don't see all the time for $5, aside from maybe Great Ice Hockey. Was pictured with the Spring/Summer 1987 game catalog and I like those little bits of nostalgia so I'm not displeased.

Got a few things yesterday;
Gamecube:
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat: $7
Wii U eShop:
Donkey Kong 64: $10
Also plan to get that Pac-Man Museum game on the PSN sale going on right now; was going to get that last night, but it seemed like PSN was down, so I was unable to get it.

This user really likes SEGA Saturn. Avoid at all costs.

Snagged a sealed copy of Walter Payton Football for the SMS off eBay for $11 shipped.
Honestly I don't know the percentage of illegitimate sealed items are on the internet so I don't really get into that stuff, but once in a blue moon I'll buy something like this. I just think it's cool it (presumably) made it all the way to me in retail shape after all this time. Some day I'll have to buy a similar item and open it just to relive the glory days.

Re: Games Acquired 2015
This week I sold a few NES cart doubles & managed to get some good deals on PS2 titles on ebay. Also found some decently priced PS1 titles @ Goodwill mixed in with the CDs this month. Going to stop by a few used games stores & thrifts Saturday as well
I'll update my entire list along with net $ spent @ end of month as usual. Looking good so far!
...I think I've officially become a PS2 collector vs "I have a good bit of decent PS2 titles." Such a great console with so many quality games. I own around 95 games for it & still have a decent want list. I've decided to fully jump in while the games (most) are still priced well.

Just counted. I have 99 PS2 games. So close.
Great system. I'm mostly looking for import games now, mainly the remaining Ys titles I need as well as the Sega Ages Phantasy Star remakes.

Those Phan Star remakes always intrigued me as well.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Just counted. I have 99 PS2 games. So close.![]()

Just counted, I'm at 96, having 3 headed my way in the mail, puts me at 99
I've found some great hidden gems in my PS2 adventures so far. Sure most knows about Ico, Shadow of the Colussus, & Beyond Good and Evil... games that truly got over looked like Psi Ops, Second Sight, Rogue Trooper, Kim Possible What's the Switch (yuuuup!), Aline vs Predator Extinction (an AvP RTS!!!) are what keep me digging into the library.
I also own many I still need to try that I have high hope for such as Drakan The Ancient Gates, Deus Ex the Conspiracy, Primal, & too many J RPGS to name
Looking forward to trying those & digging deeper in the library & hunting those titles down at good prices!
