What car do you drive?

Those things are sweet! I thought they went out of production. Glad to see they didn't!

This is the last year model, actually. Hopefully they bring it back eventually.

Only a couple of gripes about it, the gas mileage (which I knew going in) and the blind spots (better use those mirrors right, and that backup camera is a life-saver).

I don't even have a car, in fact I don't even have my license yet. :( One day, one day I'll get my license.

If ever you pop over to this neck of the woods I'll give you driving practice in mine. :P

My wife & I are still driving the same vehicles I posted some time ago in this thread :)

My off road 4 door GMC Canyon has 138K miles. Her GMC Terrain has 98K.

Both in great shape. Preventative maintenance & parking in garage do wonders.

Something I've never mentioned is that I also own a single cab 1996 Dodge Ram SST sport package with a 318 V8. That beast gets 12 mpg lol. My plan is to gradually get her in better cosmetic shape & have her looking similar to this:

^ That picture was definitely taken in Galveston. Look at those little waves and dirty water! LOL! But anyways, yeah, that truck is really cool. Reminds me of a Viper paint job.

Thierry Henry, your X5 is to die for! It looks like it has the M-Tech package and everything!

Here is a decent picture of my 03' 330i before it had its suspension refreshed a few months ago.

Good ol Galveston, likely ha! Yeah that same year the Ram SST was used as a lap pace truck at the Indy 500. A low run of Indy 500 editions were made. A Guy in Houston owns one I've seen in the Heights area. The SST model became fairly popular in the sport truck scene following. Eventually leading to the Rumble Bee, Daytona model, & the big boy... SRT10. Interesting history & I happen to own that same year model SST. Bought it from a lady who taught elementary school.... no joke. Runs fine but she needs cosmetic work.

I posted that I got a new car in the Smile/Ticked thread a couple weeks ago...

2012 Toyota Camry LE

This is my third car, and my third Toyota. :D

I had a 99 Camry before this. It was a great car, but I didn't feel like driving around in a 16 year old car anymore. It was still in great shape, but at that age, things can go wrong at any point with no warning. I bought it in 2008 with only 50k miles on it. It was actually on the lot of my local Toyota dealership. It had one original owner, who bought it there, and traded it in there. And the salesman that I got was awesome. Total opposite of the typical sleazebag salesman that gives you a load of BS and double talk.

This salesman was so awesome, I went straight to him when I decided to check out getting a new Toyota. He actually remembered me, which was sort of impressive since it was like 7 years ago. I had just reached 98k miles on the car (work was really close to home for the first 6 years of owning it). To my surprise, I was offered $2k as trade-in for it (that's a lot). So I decided to pounce it.

I settled with the 2012 Camry. I could have got the same year but fully loaded, but it was gonna be an extra $70 or so a month. I wanted to keep the payments low. I've had the car for a few weeks now, and I can help but think, "Did I make a mistake? Should I have gotten the one with all the options?" But I'm sure in a few months, I'll be happy to have the extra $70/mo in my wallet.

There's only a few options mine doesn't have that I'll sort of miss. Heated seats would have been nice, but I don't need them. Heated side mirrors also would have been nice. I don't need them, but I really would have liked them. And it has crappy steel rims with plastic wheel covers. I HATE plastic wheel covers. I'm thinking about buying rims, but I don't know just yet (I'm leasing). Outside of that, I'm not really gonna miss any options. I prefer cloth seats over leather. I'd rather not have a sunroof. And I can't think of the other options I'm missing, which means they're not important.

My 99 Camry had a sunroof. It was nice to have, and the first year of owning that car I thought I'd never be able to have another car without one. But, did you know that sunroofs aren't water tight? 7 years ago, I didn't. Water leaks in, and then drains out. On the 99 Camry, it drains through four locations. In the front, water travels down through the body and out the bottom. In the back, there's two tubes that exit out by the rear wheels. And there's the potential to clog, which will cause you problems. So in my car, it clogged with twigs and leaves and whatnot on the front passenger side. I never found out where it was leaking into the car from, but it completed soaked the carpet. I didn't want my car to smell like mildew, mold, etc, so I removed the carpet which isn't an easy task since you have to remove just about everything inside the car. After I pulled the carpet out, there was a puddle in the car that was inches deep. That's how much water got it. Luckily, the carpet dried up nice in the sun. I sucked out the water inside the car with a Shop Vac and let some fans dry the rest. And the car never got the awful smell.

And that's why I can do without a sunroof!

This one is going in the portfolio. Maybe in a few years I can quit college and pursue my dream job of being an MSPaint artist if I keep up this quality of work.

You inspired me to upload a picture of my new ride. Here it is: my new BMW 7 Series! I always thought the grill of a BMW looked like large nostrils but something about this year's model really brings out that feature. Do you think they went over-the-top for 2015?
