What should a sandwich have in it?

A sandwich made with buns is no sandwich at all.

You just have to put the leftovers into a sandwich

Should have been more clear -- it's the only exception to the fresh sandwich rule! When making a large feast (usually on a holiday)...the day that follows produces sublime sandwiches...it's all in the flavours getting that extra night in the fridge to develop.

I was flipping through and saw Token's avatar. I thought he had posted in the off topic thread.

Everyone is going to mistake you for him now. It is Racketboy identity theft. ;)

Except BBQ sandwiches - obviously you can't have a BBQ pork sandwich without BBQ sauce.
Don't give me that "not all BBQ uses standard tomato-based sauce" BS. Heretic.

To be fair, assorted BBQ sandwiches do go well with pickles.

And now I want a smoked turkey on jalapeno bread sandwich from Goode Co BBQ.
