What's your 2014 Game of the Year?

Awesome to see Shovel Knight on so many list. Just DLed this, looking forward to it even more now.

I don't even know if I've played 10 games from 2014. I do know that, with a computer that needs a new power supply and automatically turns off when I play 3D games and only a Wii U as my current gen console, most the games I see on these lists aren't even possible for me to play currently.

I will say that I enjoyed Smash Bros Wii U, Shantae and the Pirate's Curse and Jamestown immensely. Those are the only games I've played this year that I completely enjoyed that I know are from this year.

I have to agree, Forza Horizon 2 is a really good game, even the little time I have played it, I was hooked. It takes a lot for a game to distract me from BF4..lol

Psssshhhh...Clearly Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric. That was the best game I've played this year, along with Rambo: The Game.

In all seriousness, though, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is easily my favorite game from 2014, if not the entire Smash Bros. series in general.

Well, in that case, just Shantae 3, I guess. Honestly, even Smash 4 is starting to wear thin on me, I guess it was just that new game smell that had me hooked.

I'd probably put Bayo2 up there, but I'm still playing through Bayo1. Really enjoying Bayo1 so far, but that game is from like 2010 or something.
