Those with a Dreamcast what games are you still playing on that system?

I'm currently working on the first Shenmue. God that game is sooooo good. On the second disc and just bought the boat ticket to China. Every time I play a dreamcast game I get so sad that Sega isn't in the hardware business anymore.

My Dreamcast gaming isn't going at the moment, sadly. :( The DC needed a new fan so I installed an Evercool EC 3010, 5V 30mm 8000 RPM. The DC starts up, the logo screen plays, then it goes to black. I think that maybe the problem is that the new fan uses more power than the old one, so maybe I need to connect the fan to the power board instead of the controller board. Before I do anything, I want to know: Has anyone had this problem with their Dreamcast? If so, how did you remedy it?

I know the problem isn't my VGA box because it does the same thing with a VGA cable and a composite cable. The DC worked just fine before I put the new fan in, and the fact that it still starts up (briefly) leads me to believe that the only problem with it is the fan, and that if I can get this sorted, I can get back to gaming.

It saddens me as well. My only wish was that they could of hung around just a little longer that we would have even more games to enjoy now. Many good games were shelved.
Curtsy when you walk by that Dreamcast

To be fair, most of those Sega games ended up on the oXbox. Learned recently that Sega pushed Microsoft to make that sys backwards compatible with the DC to no avail.

Had some buds over and fired up some classics.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 - Won one match, lost two.
Cannon Spike - Made it to Stage 7 on VHard as Charlie and friend as Megaman.
Gigawing 2 - Three people, beat it on 4 player mode. Pretty easy if you simply rotate shield barrier duty.

Still entertaining to this day!

I read that a while ago. MS probably didn't want to have to either (A) base their Xbox on vidya game as opposed to Wintel hardware, or (B) slap a whole Dreamcast into an already large box.

No, but I worked around it. I took a completed PAL Shenmue I save from the Dream Explorer ISO and used that for Shenmue II. That worked

You can use PAL Shenmue 2 on a US NTSC system & save just fine. I own it & can confirm.

You just can't import your data from Shenmue I without some tweaking.

PAL Shenmue II was actually carried by GameStop in the US (bundled with a boot disc).

Thought I might have won this with a 260 bid:

Oh well. lol. Not sure why I wanted a official VGA box. lol. Kind of a relief at the same time.
