While this can be boring elevator talk, we have members from all over the world & I think it'd be an interesting ongoing thread.

I'm in Houston for example... most ppl from outside of Texas picture Arizona type landscape which does occur in parts of TX but Houston gets more annual rainfall than Seattle & often reaches 100% humidity.

Today it feels like 90 (85 actual) & we're at 71% humidity. Believe it or not, a cool day for Texas July will reach triple digits soon.

I am never ever moving to Houston oh god the humidity.

Abilene's a bit drier, but it's still Texas so it still gets hot. Not sure I'd ever call 93F a "cool" day though...

About 70 here today. Sunny with a nice little breeze. Great weather to play with my daughter outside.

80 is what I consider too hot for comfort. 90 is where I completely wilt. The temp rarely exceeds 90 here.

Beautiful today. Woke up and it was in the high 60's, low 70's. Walked through the park and took some lovely photographs. Saw two does and three fawns. Now it's overcast and 79.

Apple, we messaged briefly about this AWHILE back but I worked in Abilene for about 4 months (company I worked for had a facility there). It was 2010 when we were in that dry spell... I walked outside one day & it was 112, true temp. Record for that day. I swore off you west TX folk as crazy lol. Might as well move to Vegas.

Right now the usual weather for this part of Turkey is a high in the low to mid 90s, a low of about 75, and 90% humidity. Rain comes about once a month, and when it does it's a downpour. People like to gripe about it but I just stay inside where it's comfortable.

Yesterday was 99 degrees here in my neck of the woods. Also, the added humidity made it considerably worse.

Can't wait until late August/early September when it gets to 111 degrees and 65% humidity. Oh and Santa Ana winds and fire danger. The joys of living in the Inland Empire.....:not:....

Oops, I forgot, I'm going with my family to Phoenix in late August to take my brothers over there for school (they start college at Grand Canyon University). I imagine THAT will be Hell on Earth.

Truth be told, Seattle doesn't get that much rain in terms of volume. The trouble is that we are oppressively overcast for months on end. The rain is usually just enough to make you damp, but rarely a downpour. This time of year though, the weather is startlingly beautiful. Much of the year is a slog, but it's worth the wait for the summertime. Here's a few recent pictures I've taken:
