With a wireless Oculus, a camera mounted on your head, and a powerful mobile device to run the games, the potential for crazy augmented reality games is immense.

I was slightly scared to click on this @ work :D

I think a fantasy first person dungeon crawler done well would really suck me in.

What I would like to see is a virtual Theater/TV app to where you could broadcast movies, games, etc. onto a virtual display within a virtual setting. Think of what could be done with an app like that.

-Simulated Movie Theaters
-Being able to choose the environment around you and a screen of your choice when playing games/browsing the web. Would be awesome if you could make a virtual game room and stream some emulators to a virtual CRT TV lol.
-Community Game Streaming. Would be cool if Twitch or someone setup an app similar to the Theaters in Garry's Mod where viewers can interact with on another.

Hell I would settle for something on the level of Fuel I used to spend hours just riding around that map listening to internet radio.

I think we need tech for multiplayer settings that uses eye tracking, so that when you interact with other avatars, they make natural eye contact. This has always been a limitation of video conferencing, but it is solvable in a digital VR space. This, along with audio spatial modeling to place voices appropriately in a 3D virtual reality, would immensely enhance the authenticity of online multiplayer interactions.

The virtual-space will allow the arcade to populate up to a 100 person capacity before it creates a new arcade for the next group of players. This way, the arcades don't have thousands of players in them and could have a more intimate feel. Perhaps, it could even match people by geographic location. It would be cool to be able to watch other people play, start up side by side Street Fighter II or Joust games with other avatars in the arcade, and feel like online multiplayer is a real arcade again.

I think if you could have your microphone transmit audio only to people within your avatar's space, so you could walk around and talk to people only in your proximity, that this would be cool too.
YAY! My dream essentially came true! 8) :D

I can see a future where the Oculus rift will have apps like on Android and Apple. Where you can download games and preview things all in the comfort of your home.
This already exists. On the PC side is Oculus Share, their official digital distribution platform. On the mobile side, there is The Oculus Store built into Gear VR.

This comes built into Gear VR, it's called VR Cinema.

PinballArcade has oculus rift support:

Technolust is also licensing a bunch of old Midway games for the arcade in-game. These are playable:

Euro Truck Simulator 2 already has native Oculus Rift support, as does Live for Speed, Assetto Corsa, iRacing, and Grid Autosport. And, most importantly, Project CARS launches next month as one of the first, AAA developed-for-the-rift-first racing games.

Ford, Nissan, and Lexus have all used Oculus Rift to show off concept cars at car shows within the last year.
I would love to see a TITANIC game. One where your actually down there seeing the ship in its rusticle glory! No worries about being crushed to death! Someone should go down there and take some high quality pictures (or use the ones already taken) and see what its like thousands of feet under the ocean.
This is already in the works:

That's called Gear VR. It will be in stores by the end of the month.

Dungeon exploring games are big on the rift already. Check out dreadhalls.
A Fatal Frame sort of game... survival horror in first person with ghosts and pants shitting.
Alien Isolation, the first game from a major developer with rift support, launched last tuesday.
A Trauma Team kinda game, first person surgery yo.
Surgeon Simulator has rift support, plus razor hydra support.
Yes you could do local multiplayer with VR over WiFi, and see each other's relative position in the VR world.
Couch Knights works like this.

Second Life released official oculus rift support yesterday.

That is cool. Also, I'm guessing you are left eye dominant from your shooting.
