I'd use something acid free like a comic book backing board. I might try that on my In the Hunt at some point and see if it helps.

I might try that when i get home. I have tons of comic books in my closet from when i was younger.

And only 3k!!! What a steal! LOL but i did find a few on ebay that said "This game always seems to have a wavy back insert and just want to let you know up front" see, Honesty is fantastic even if it's a common flaw of an item.

To tell the truth I don't know how some of these sellers get by. eBay seems to be going the opposite direction when it comes their new policies they aren't trying to get rid of their bad sellers but instead are raising the bar on the good sellers :P. Guys like this shouldn't exist :P.

I FIXED MY INSERT! I just ironed the son of a bitch. put a t shirt on top of it and put the iron on medium. A few minutes later it's nearly perfect!

Gamecube inserts can get just as bad. Humidity is the culprit for them as well. Even nice new ones over time can get those waves. Many of mine do, sadly.

/Living in Houston, humidity is a huge factory here (100% humidity often during the summer 100 degree heat). When I leave for the day, my AC goes to 80 degrees. That temperature may sound "hot" but is fine considering it just a few degrees above what most restaurants are set... 80 degrees with no humidity is fine.

The most important is that central air "sucks" the humidity out of the air that is inevitable here. I cringe when ppl store games in attics or garages here! Ever been in a cold "shop" that has a large window unit? If the unit only stay on long enough create cold air, none of the humidity is eliminated, created a cold & damp environment. 79/80 degrees and dry is better than 70 degrees and damp!

Also black out curtains in my game room to lower the temp a bit & prevent sun fading.

With that said, a few of my SS games came with wavy inserts but the ones I bought in nice condition have stayed that way :D
