Re: PS2 Wireless Controller - Finally Bought One
A few months later, my logitech controller has become unreliable. Commands are often delayed or the connection drops. It lasted quite a while though and it was great while it worked properly. I don't know how long these things usually last. Those who have the same controller, are yours still working? If so, how much have you used them?

Hm....does it take AAA batts or a rechargeable pack. My pelican wireless starts getting sluggish when it needs new batts.Valkyrie-Favor wrote:A few months later, my logitech controller has become unreliable. Also try cleaning the controller port on console, as well as the receiver.
Ill let you know how my new cheapo functions. For $11, might be worth grabbing.

I've had my Logitech controller for a few years and, last I checked, it's still working fine. While I didn't use it constantly, it has seen a fair amount of play.Valkyrie-Favor wrote:A few months later, my logitech controller has become unreliable. If you're using rechargeable AA batts, ditch them for a strong new pair. RC batts can loose their juice over time, even when charged up.

Man, this setup looks slick with the Hydra controller & receiver. Sits flush with the PS2 slim on the counter. The Pelican was made for the PS2 fat & would need to hang off the ledge due to its thickness.
Looks sharp, right?
Edit: note you're looking @ a black mem card & the wireless receiver in the console.

Re: PS2 Wireless Controller - Finally Bought One
I have acquired a couple of these lately and plan on doing a full review for RB soon. I've only used it for about five or six hours so far, but they feel great with a few very minor issues. I'll elaborate after I beat the game I'm playing and try out a few more genre's with it.Ziggy587 wrote:Yeah, I have two of those LogiTech controllers, they're real nice for sure. I'm not a big fan of the D pad, but they work well for anything that the D pad doesn't matter for (RGPs).
Some one posted on the forums here a while back about the officially licensed Katana controllers...
They look great, like they'd feel exactly like an official PS2 controller. I wanted to get one to replace one of my LogiTechs, but never got around to it.
