I think it would be cool if the 3DS version of SSB utilized environments from puzzle games like Meteos or Picross wherein the fighters must avoid falling blocks during battle.

Meta-Knight certainly does. He's widely regarded as being overpowered. He can glide twice, his jumps move him around quickly and his aerial attacks all come out instantly.

Kirby however is slow in the air, doesnt actually get as much height as you'd expect from his jumps, has little horizontal recovery because he cant glide and his recovery move goes straight up. He's also pretty light, so despite being able to recover quite far, he's still easy to knock out of bounds. Most of the multiple jump characters are pretty light.

I like the Meteos idea. Didn't Sakurai have a hand in that game too?

Well, Meta Knight is insanely OP, so using him as a example isn't a good one. He was so OP he was banned from tournaments.

A bit worried it may be too much going on for the smaller handheld screen (even though I have a XL). Wii title even gets crowded & crazy on my 42" LCD lol.
