Re: Games Acquired 2014
Man, I fucking hate sniping on eBay. I was winning this auction:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/181366355058?ss ... 1435.l2649
Literally at the last second the bid went from $83 (my bid was maxed out at $100) to $101, to ~$150. That irritates me so bad. I only wanted a handful of the games, then I was going to relist the remaining games to recoup my money. Bah, maybe I'll get it next time.

APRIL 2014
Well.... my NFL Blitz 2000 on Dreamcast finally bit the dust, no in game music. That is our big party game when ppl come over. I decided to order a newer version of one of our favorite arcade games ('03 runs on a diff engine) & another wireless PS2 controller for player 2 (already have one) so we can play without controller cords.
Hardware:
PS2 Wireless Controller (Hydra Performance - New, Black)
PS2:
NFL Blitz 2003 (CIB)
Also, I'm still tracking my spending, money in & money out. I'm still doing very well this year. Having fun on a budget & even grabbed 2 rare SS RPGs last month.

Ha I have that same theory even if I probably can't do it, but dang that sucks....though that lot would've gotten me everything in the ps2 era I want just about ha haFrag Mortuus wrote:Man, I fucking hate sniping on eBay. I was winning this auction:

I almost always snipe, though I do it manually. Sniping programs are for wusses.
I promise it wasn't me though FM.

'Caved' and bought one of these. I'm not a big Nintendo guy but there's always something that's just plain fun about buying one of their products.
Regular DS games I bought on a whim:
Hotel Dusk Room 215
Metroid Pinball
Trauma Center: Under the Knife
Brain Age 2
My Stop Smoking Coach (hey, it could be the best $2.50 I've ever spent!)

Gotta look for those deals. During Christmas, my wife and I were able to score the MArio & Luigi Dream Team 3DSXL for $150, but got a $50 gift card as well and we used that to buy animal crossing and some nails.darsparx wrote:Man I really want one of those themed 3ds's just seeing one of those boxes really makes me really glad so many sell them on ebay and somehow I'll get a deal on it

Re: Games Acquired 2014
Yeah I wanted to find a sweetheart deal but couldn't find anything currently. Got it at Best Buy. My only better option was Amazon for like $9 cheaper but would've had to wait two days to get it so, meh. The Pokemon ones looked nice but are over $200 now online it seems and the Yoshi one is $10 more, doesn't come with a game, and is ugly lol.BogusMeatFactory wrote:Gotta look for those deals. Re: Games Acquired 2014
Visited Rochester, MN today and stopped by the Pawn America and Gamestop stores while there.
Nintendo Wii
Classic Pro Controller (black) - $9.99 - I've wanted one of these for a long time and it's in great shape, a white one would have been preferred
Nintendo DS
The Gamestop actually had DS games in cases which I haven't seen at any of the other stores recently so I picked up a few things on the cheap.
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer CIB - $1.99
Nancy Drew: The Mystery of the Clue Bender Society CIB - $4.99
Puzzle Quest: Galactrix CIB - $0.99
Story of Noah's Ark CIB - $1.99
Touch Detective 1 1/2 CIB - $1.99
Nintendo Gamecube
Madden 2004 CIB - $0.50 - basically bought for the case
Microsoft oXbox
Buffy the Vampire Slayer CIB - $1.99 (they also had Chaos Bleeds for $4.99 but it was missing instructions)
Sony Playstation 2
Multi-tap (off brand) - $0.75 - for that price I don't mind that it's not an official brand
Other
2 packages of Scribblenauts DC characters - got Golden Superman and Black Manta - $5 each
Previously added games YTD:

The thing is the one I want won't come cheap if I want it with the game and for it to work(I don't know why but I love the zelda 25th one).BogusMeatFactory wrote:Gotta look for those deals.
