I take it that was probably a gamestop pickup that had some ps2 games just laying around apparently like mine? I probably should've picked up others but I didn't XD ah well too bad they'll probably be at a store in huntersville like he said would happen but they probably had been sitting there for awhile...

Damn them some good Saturn games.

I'll probably get those eventually, I love the Shining series. I dunno if it makes sense to go after the expensive SNES games or the expensive Saturn games first.

I could just buy 200 Atari 2600 games instead. Maybe I'll just do that.

What is it with you and that atari 2600 comparison? Guess I should take a look at their price to see what you keep talking about ha ha XD

It is more about the cost of these saturn games in particular. Good saturn games are incredibly expensive. Titles like Panzer Dragoon Saga, Shining Force III, Burning Rangers, Dragon Force and on and on and on go for a range between $60-$200 a piece depending on the condition and the title.

I appreciate that Bonez. I've been hunting these 2 for some time now. They came into a local game store. The manager listed them a bit below retail bc he rarely gets SS stuff & assumed not many of his regulars had a SS console. I then talked him down $30. I got the pair for $80, $40 each!

He's a cool guy you can bargain with, wanted to move them instead of having inventory sit.

Not bad! I watched an auction this week for Shining Wisdom alone that finished @ $93 shipped so I did well.

Adding both these to my 2014 playlist, along with Mystaria, so I have a SS RPG heavy road ahead :)

I would love to get Shining Force III, PDS, & Dragon Force but the price point is a barrier obviously.

That's a fantastic deal you got. However, the price of Saturn games is why I don't collect for that console. I have a hard time paying more than the cost of a new current gen game for any game, regardless of system or whatever. Not, that I think you're (or anyone else for that matter) crazy for paying the asking price for Saturn games. I just don't have the heart for it. I wish I did because some of those games look amazing. Again, good deal. Those type of transactions are what makes the hunt worth it. :D

Yeah, they were GS games. My local store is supposed to be getting some PS2 games delivered from other stores so that they have more to choose from. I can't wait to see what they get because for the prices they have them for, I'll buy disk only all day. I can always buy replacement cases and print the artwork if I want.

I told the clerk they should lower their PSP games down to 75% off as well

They do that and i might go broke that day XD probably still a year out before they truly start marking it down that far...

I purposely bought Panzer Dragoon Saga first so now when I buy any other game I can say "well at least it wasn't as expensive as Panzer Dragoon Saga."

My Saturn "want list" is weird. Every game is like a $100 North American title or a $10 Japanese import.
