I'm actually doing that right now to fill in the time between being done with Dark Souls and D3 expansion launching. I'd played Sith Lords back in the day when it first came out, then I heard about the restored content mods years later and never got around to playing them. Then on the GOG boards someone posted that the major content restore/bug fix mod just released a new version which reminded me to install it (as well as M4-78 and Handmaiden for female Exile). So far I've finished Taris and am just starting Nar Shaddaa.
I played with one of the early content restoration mod versions (it's been almost 4 years), so I can't remember if it had the droid plane. I do remember lots of battles with the HK-50's. I do know that the mod didn't let Handmaiden join female Exile's party. I remember because I had to put up with the disciple guy.
Yeah, letting the same sex version of Handmaiden/Disciple join your party is a separate mod, since the dialog still has them refer to you with the opposite sex pronoun when it comes up, so it's been left as an optional thing. I got Disciple when I first played and he got stuck into a corner of my ship and never let out.

Definitely. Its a Strategy RPG which is a subgenre of role playing games.

Outside of Shining Force on Genesis I don't have much experience in SRPGs so I made it my goal to beat a few in 2014. I really enjoy the strategy involved in chess & RPGs... kind of a perfect mix for me lol :)

I couldn't really get into Advance Wars, but this Fire Emblem game has me hooked. Maybe its the theme, or the character interaction that does it for me.

I'm currently playing normal difficulty casual mode. I initially played classic mode, but after a few deaths, I decided that if I was going to reset every time I lost a character, I should just use casual mode to give me the option of continuing without the loss. I still try to avoid any and all deaths.

I'm heading downtown Toronto today. Let's see if I get any Fire Emblem streetpass hits.

Finally finished KOTOR. Good stuff. The fight against Malak at the end took forever as a scoundrel with blasters. It's the trade off for the build I went with while playing. My character could melt just about everything in the game, but Malak and a few of the more powerful Dark Jedi would be a pain in the butt to deal with. Still, finally took him down. Just had to spam a lot of stimulants, only used my healing force power since he either resisted the ones I cast on him or nullified my own force buffs. Then just a lot of med pacs.

The story was a fun romp and the game has a lot of likable characters. I still really like Jolee. He has that grumpy exterior but if you give him the chance, he's happy to talk your ear off. =p Oddly, I was given a bunch of lovey dovey conversation options with Bastilla while on the Star Forge despite almost never having her in the party, and never talking to her outside of parts of the game where I was forced to. Seemed weird.

Now I just need to wait on a Steam sale to get KOTOR 2. For now, though, I've moved on to Paper Sorcerer. Seems a pretty decent dungeon crawler for the five bucks I paid for it. You play as an evil sorcerer that was defeated by a group of heroes and imprisoned in a book. Now you have to find a way to escape. Party members include stuff like werewolves, minotaurs, cultists, and such. So far it's been fun, but the music is super repetitive with no way to turn it off. XD

I had almost forgotten how good the original Final Fantasy was... the graphics, the music, the class system... Excellent stuff.

I'm playing the GBA version (Dawn of Souls) as I'm not too familiar with this port. I almost went for the WonderSwan Color version, but then I remembered that console isn't backlit. Maybe some other time.

Part II is on the same GBA cart and yes, I will be playing that as well. I don't despise the game as much as other folks do. It's certainly more enjoyable than some of the more recent entries in the series...

As much as I love the FF series, I've never been able to stomach the NES version of the original haha. Boxes... everywhere.

I played and finished FFIII NES though and thought it was awesome.

I love NES FF.... So much black.

I still have the Nintendo Power issue that's a Final Fantasy strategy guide. It's fantastic. I love how Nintendo Power used to dedicate entire issues to a single game. You could never get away with that these days.

Well since Harvest Moon counts I'm playing FoMT....I found my cart and Spring 9 first year and trying to get poppuri.....I don't know why but I've always liked her....I may start a second game and try to get Karen on it. I think I'm already well on my way to the purple heart but struggling to get the rucksack since I keep spending 600 to buy and wrap chocolates. As well giving eggs to her on the other days. Man I really need to find where I put the cords for my vita and play one of those rpgs...(or the harvest moon I have on there but I need to memorize the map for it though I got really confused trying to pick it up and play).

I'm also playing through FF adventure on gbc(sword of mana). If I remember correctly I think I just met and completed Bogards request...I've really got to turn on the gbc and see since i'm having a hard time recalling since i've been playing that HM so long today XD
