Yeah I wouldn't get my hopes up for another Shenmue.

Fine with me, really. The Yakuza series is practically Shenmue with all the tedium filtered out anyway.

I really like Yakuza too but we can't really play those games in English anymore it seems. >_<

Rumors around the web say Atlus may be localizing the most recent one (5?).

Some ATLUS PR guy already said it was false unfortunately.

They've already got 4 Persona games to localize as well as whatever other Japanese gems they decide to bring west anyway.

If Atlus really wants my money, they should localize Kurohyou: Ryu ga Gotoku Shinshou* and Kurohyou 2: Ryu ga Gotoku Ashura Hen* for PSP, and make them available on PSN. Then we could play them on Vita too.

*If you don't know what those are, they're actually Yakuza games for PSP.

Ahhh Cave, thanks for the update.

Yeah, PSP Yakuza games would do well I think as a DL title... I know a lot of ppl who would play them on Ps3/4, even with PSP graphics (similar to God of War PSP games released on console)

GDC talk is on deck for next week, 2p EST! shenmuedojo is going nuts with hype, haha. should be a good time even if it's just more talk from Suzuki.

^very much agreed, i also loved the older ones where he (and Cerny) just talked about life around AM2 in the golden era, shit sounded amazing...like that employee getting stuck all night in the G-Loc (i think it was?) cabinet, haha
