That'd be awesome. I know he's printing some DVDs... should be as easy as ripping the file (for yourself, not sharing) and running it through a file converter to compress it to MPEG1/Video CD format and loading with a boot disc... then it could even be watch on Saturn (with VCD card) which Shenmue was originally planned for... MIND GRENADE!

Seriously though, it looks like a lot of Shenmue was done on the SS. Would've been awesome. Not certain it would've changed Shenmue, nor the Saturn's, fate though.

It would not have changed neither of their fates, but it would have definitely changed how the story would have played out. Original Ren was in Yokosuka...curious to know how that would have played out.

I feel like there's a way to do it so no boot disc would be required at all. I know I've seen Dreamcast format movies before. Like remember that site DC-Evolution that sadly went down a few years ago? They used to put up public domain movies that had been encoded to be self-booting DC discs.

That's awesome! Yeah I imagine you need a layer of code that "tricks" the DC into thinking it is reading FMV off a GDRom game.
