Hey hey, whaddaya say?

Spoke with my Father in law and he's already back from the Mayo clinic, two days early. The bad news is that the cancer is indeed back and pissed, the good news is that the Mayo clinic located it with precision and he'll have surgery to remove it before the end of the month.

No chemo, just a four surgery near his junk to remove a few lymph nodes.

He was worried that the results would come back inconclusive, and that he wasted a lot of clams and time on nothing. But he didn't lose the keypass to the mint, rather he found exactly what was wrong, where it was wrong, and how and when he'll get back on his feet.

Once again, the Mayo Clinic delivers astonishing results.

:D Found another Disney World Cinema release when I dropped by the Hollywood Studios Casting Center. It's another film from India, and it's called Do Dooni Chaar. It doesn't look like a fantasy film like the last two I checked out but it looks like I might like it.

:D Got my schedule for next week and I've got about 30-35 hours and didn't have to pick up any shifts.

:? Two of them start relatively early. One starts at 9 and another starts at 9:30, but all my shifts end at 6:30 (an hour and a half after the park closes).

:( My tax refund's only $74 and change. But that's after H&R Block's fees and my bank's fees since I chose to get direct deposit. This is the second time I got my taxes done by not getting my aunt to do it for me.

 But at least I get money!

:x Kinda jealous my brother gets more money back, but then again...

8) It's because he's got kids, whereas I don't have to deal with the stress of parenthood. A part of me wants to be a dad, but then there's the part of me that knows I'm too selfish and egotistical to deal with kids. I'm also a bit too altruistic to make someone deal with having me for a dad.

   WHICH IS WHY I'M SUCH AN AWESOME UNCLE!!!!!!!!!!!! When my nieces (and one day my yet-to-be-born nephews) get older, I hope I'm rich and famous so I can afford to bring them and their friends to NYC and take them shopping, to Broadway shows, sightseeing and *mutters "R-rated movies"*.

Sad for the Henson family though.

I thought the same thing

They had options for the FZ-10 which is what I did (and it's apparently now back-ordered) and for the Goldstar GDO-101. Didn't see an option for the FZ-01, dunno if they'll be working on that. Wouldn't look as sleek with the usb mod anyway -- with the FZ-10, you can hide your USB drive in the CD area, with a slide-in tray that's not gonna be an option.

Wonder how they did the goldstar considering it has a disc tray also?

Very cool idea they have here. It's cheaper than a copy of Lucienne's Quest :)

No idea. They said on their site "If you choose to install it yourself, be aware you'll have to mod or remove the disc tray" although apparently the soldering part is much easier on that one (they rated it "Intermediate" vs "Expert" for the FZ-10, and in the description said very little actual soldering is needed, vs a comment that you had to remove a 50 pin SMD component and solder to points that were left behind). It looks slick as hell on the FZ-10 (I'll take a picture in the next few days when work stops being so brutal), I can't imagine it'd look as good on the front loaders.

And yeah, exactly on the price. Like, I like collecting. Heck, right now collecting is more my hobby than playing. The shelf candy is nice. Buuuuuut the option to actually PLAY everything is freakin fantastic.

:( Woke up bright and early this morning to pack up and ship games from my B/S/T thread only to realize that it is a national holiday and the post office is closed.

:( My wife wanted to play Super Mario 3D World together and we played a couple levels. We are at the last world and a few levels away from fighting bowser when she goes. "I'm done."

but...b....but....we are RIGHT THERE! SO CLOSE!

Smile: Got Dragon Quest IX used for cheap on eBay. The Club Nintendo points were unclaimed!

Smile: Got into the Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls beta test over the weekend. Got a Crusader to level 45.

Frown: I decided to copy my other characters over to the beta test. Turns out that deletes everything you have done so far in your beta account. Bye-bye level 45 Crusader.

:x It's snowing outside, I stayed up all night, and I have to catch a flight in 2 hours with an isle seat so my plans for sleeping during the flight will most likely end with me drooling all over myself.

:D The flight is to Florida and the temp there is in the seventies and I'll be there for a week. I'm going to see my Mom which I haven't done since she moved to Florida so it'll be nice. I guess you can swim with dolphins and manatees right by her house too so that should be sweet.

 I'm going to try to get a picture of me "punching" a manatee. Not actually hitting it you know but just a pic that looks like it. I just want to be able to say I punched a manatee because I'm sure there aren't that many people that can say they have punched a manatee.

I lived in Orlando when I was four, and my parents have a lot of pictures of me punching manatees. In fact, punching manatees is actually pretty common thing down there since - let's be honest here - manatees are pretty shitty and their smug faces are just asking for it.
