But on the other hand didn't like the job anyway and really hated the lead and how he ran his shift. So im mad and kinda bummed but like "meh, oh well" too. But hey now i get to take part in the weekly racketboy fight night

:) I got some of my bookmarked sites back. went through my facebook likes and google history.

:( its not even a third of what I had saved up over the years. I dont think I'll get them back. I dont have the patience to scour the random sites I've frequented.

 Some jackwagon parked almost directly across the street from my driveway, forcing me to cut my car waaaay sooner than I normally would have to. Which means I ended up stranded in the shovel-pile of snow at the end of my driveway. Now I haven't been nearly as good about shoveling the apron as I should have been, but man there's not a lot of people parked on my street, matter of fact that car was one of only 2, why you gotta park almost directly across from a driveway?

Silver lining is I still made it to work on time, even after a little bit of digging out. Missed the chance to stop for coffee though.

:D Got my USB-modded 3DO in the mail yesterday. Opened it up today, though I didn't have any time to play with it because I'm working a double so I needed sleep.

It's... beautiful. Cannot WAIT to have the ability to do this to other systems. Now I just need to get one of those no-separate-power-required USB drives, like 250 gigs or so, so that I can throw the entire discography in there... Probably will have to do some converting too, I think it requires ISOs and Trurip does bin/cue... easy enough to do though.

Who modded it for you? Saw one eBay (expensive!) but looked interesting...

I had Stone Age Gamer do the install for me. It definitely was expensive, but retro gaming is my hobby so I can let myself indulge from time to time. PLUS (and I don't know if this was intentional or not), I was able to use one of the 15% off coupons that I previously had from flash cart purchases there. Being that they specifically block using those coupons on flash carts, I was kinda surprised it worked for the USB mod and install, but I certainly wasn't complaining.... however, YMMV. I know when it came In Stock, it said there were 7 units available so I don't know if anyone else tried it and if he will continue honoring coupons on it.

But yeah. I dunno, stuff like this is like crack to me. They could do a USB mod for a freaking CDi and I'd get mine done. Lasers are gonna die eventually, and on the less popular systems they're not necessarily going to be an easy fix.

Luckily no.

John Paul Henson died. He was Sweetums' muppeteer, all around good guy.
