Certainly I expect most listening to be done in chunks, and that is why I include the time stamps in the show description for those that are just interested in jumping to the main topic.
The thought of splitting them into two shows isn't a bad one, and would give those that weren't interested in the scores part a way to skip them. That would still put the average show at 2.5 hours, so that may still be too long for some tastes. I don't see it getting much lower than that.
Thanks for the feedback!

Episode 19 of the Collectorcast is out: http://www.rfgeneration.com/news/collec ... e-2695.php
In this episode, our own co-host Crabmaster2000 has opened a retail retro gaming store. We talk to him about the decision making process, what it takes, the work involved, and his thoughts on the transition from collector to business owner.
For those listeners that prefer to just check out the topic only, we have changed the format to put the main discussion up front. As always, if you listen on you'll hear discussion of some of the awesome gaming finds of our listeners. Thanks for listening!

Glad to hear that! I took the suggestions to heart, and I hope that this is a good compromise. Our other listeners that enjoy the pick-ups portion seemed to be happy with the change as well.noiseredux wrote:awesome!Duke.Togo wrote: For those listeners that prefer to just check out the topic only, we have changed the format to put the main discussion up front.

Re: RF Generation Collectorcast
Somehow I completely botched posting about episode 22 here. The good news is, you can listen to it, and episode 23 as well!
In episode 22 we talked at length about complete set and subset collecting. We get into what constitutes sets, what drives us to complete them, how important (or not) they are, and more!
In episode 23, we dig deep into arcade and pinball collecting. We talk about where to find them, resources to know about, transporting, and more.
Thanks for listening, and you can find the show as usual at http://www.collectorcast.com/

Re: RF Generation Collectorcast
Will give it a listen on my commute.
For those who only stream podcast, I started taking 10 minutes a week & dropping several podcast MP3 files on my phone (delete follow week & repeat). Worth it to be able to pick up your spot & save on cell data as well.
