What's the rarest game you own?
Re: What's the rarest game you own?
My rarest game would be either my CIB M.U.S.H.A i guess, but I am really fond of my two Steel Battalion controllers (The awesome giant ones with all the buttons). Other than that I guess my sealed copy of Ni no kuni Wizard edition, it cost me so much to get that I couldn't force myself to open it, I went and got a used copy from gamestop instead, great game.

Not even gonna lie - I haven't opened Class of Heroes 2 yet.

Game Boy Color: Not rare, but Oracle of Ages and Seasons together is freaking awesome.
Saturn: The NiGHTS: Into Dreams with 3D controller set, complete with Christmas NiGHTS.
Playstation 2: Suikoden V, Growlanser: Generations, and Ico (which I refuse to believe is rare, yet was nearly impossible to find)
Nintendo 64: Conker's Bad Fur Day, Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness
Gamecube: Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Skies of Arcadia: Legends, Eternal Darkness
Nintendo DS: Game & Watch Collection (limited release from Club Nintendo?)
Game Boy Advance: The two Fire Emblem games
Nintendo Wii: Dokapon Kingdom, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Super Mario All-Stars, Metroid Prime Trilogy, and Xenoblade

You know in all these years I've never actually played Seasons? When I was a kid my mom said I could only get one (like with Pokemon blue and red) so I picked Ages because of the blue color...blue = soothing, red = angry. Oddly enough I picked Pokemon Red back when too...I think it was because they were out of Blue...*shrug* anyways I have yet to find a copy of Seasons in all these years as well so unless I magically stumble across one, i'm going to have to get it off Ebay.TheBrick wrote:Game Boy Color: Not rare, but Oracle of Ages and Seasons together is freaking awesome.

I've never played either, are they completely different games or same game with slight variations?GirlGamer55 wrote:You know in all these years I've never actually played Seasons? They utilize the same engine, but they are completely different games. Moreover, if you play both of them, you can use items from one game in the other, and you can also unlock the "true" final bosses.Stark wrote:I've never played either, are they completely different games or same game with slight variations?
(BTW, I love them, and they remain my favorite portable Zelda titles. I have not yet played A Link Between Worlds, however.)

Each of them is its own game. They both play similarly to Links Awakening, although I personally slightly prefer these games to that one. Oracle of Ages is my favourite portable zelda game.Stark wrote:I've never played either, are they completely different games or same game with slight variations?GirlGamer55 wrote:You know in all these years I've never actually played Seasons? Re: What's the rarest game you own?
I have yet to gather a game in the $100 price range. I tend to limit my spending to the cost of current generation games. That said, I have managed to gather up a few worth mentioning!
NES: Gun-Nac
SNES: Chrono Trigger and Mario RPG
N64: Conker's Bad Fur Day
Those about do it. I'm still hunting for my Earthbound and Musha, and of course that ever-dreaded Little Samson (not sure if the price is the sole reason I want it, or if the game is really that great?). Hopefully we'll cross paths soon at a humble little garage sale.

Hmmm I'll contradict myself & mention some uncommon digital games... the 3DS ambassador titles that they gave to the early 3DS install base after price drop. Those were never re-released to the public.
