Thanks!! I have a couple odds and ends to pick up yet, but for the most part my NA collection is about complete.

Received Mystaria today. Hear a lot of good things about this one from ppl who love SRPGs, good sign.

Also bought a 6 foot controller extension. Excited to kick back & enjoy the SS from not 3 feet away lol.

I was given Mystaria by a friend(along with Dragonforce!) when I was first getting into Saturn collecting and all I remember was that it had really poor graphics. I ended up selling it years ago along with a bunch of other games I didn't think were up to snuff. I look back now and wished I would have given it another shot or at least kept it for my collection sake.

Let me know what you think of it!

The graphics suck hairy goat balls, but the game is still pretty good, despite that, mostly because the combat balance is well done. The game is fun because of how it plays, not how it looks.

I'm on the last chapter of Shining Force ]I[ Scenario 1. I have burned the "Shining force translation project" versions of Scenarios 2 and 3. They are v14 so I might re-burn to get the latest v15.

Before I start the chapter I need to figure out what things to keep on my characters going into the next scenario.

Sorry man, just saw this and had time to post. Anyway, it's been years since I had to do it, but as I recall transferring mithrils, power up items and most importantly the Elbesem orb, which you need to keep in a character's slot. You could alternatively keep some of the heal all items over the mithrils, that part is really up to your preference.

Cool, I've defeated Bassandra and tried the "Heros test" once which resulted in half my force dying and losing friendships. I might try grinding Hero's Test a few times if possible as some of my less used characters are level 5/6. I peeked at some FAQs about the final battle, didn't want to have it spoiled too much, but saw something about "reserve force" which I assume is the characters left behind in headquarters.
