Some Waffle Houses do have bad coffee, but if you get a good fresh cup, it is solid.s1mplehumar wrote:Huh?BoringSupreez wrote:I don't know about their dark roast, but their regular coffee is far too watery for my tastes.fastbilly1 wrote:but my absolute favorite is Waffle House coffee, especially their new dark roast.

Mine is a mix of 3 different coffees; don't know them off hand because I don't do the mixing. It comes out delicious, with a caramel taste

I'm not complicated. Give me a nice cup of Folgers.

I only drink Chock Full o' Nuts. I bought it once as an immature joke but when I actually tasted it I was really impressed.
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)
Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping!

Re: Coffee:Whats your favorite brand/type
My coffee drinking is pretty boring. Folger's, Maxwell House, and sometimes Chock Full 'o Nuts.
I never really experimented with any kind of specialty coffee outside of Starbucks when I was in college and even then I preferred the cheap coffee from the cafeteria.
I had quite a few years where I couldn't drink coffee because of digestive problems but now I can drink it fine and usually have a cup a day. Sometimes I'll make instant coffee if I've had a big dinner.

Personally I dont have much of a brand preference partly due to the k-cup system but I pick up anything that is familiar. Starbucks Sumatra is one that I like, Kahlua has an amazing aroma and tastes great, Revv is powerful stuff but too bitter so I add some sugar or flavored creamer, and a couple of others.

Count me among the Eight O'clock Coffee crowd.
I pick the hazelnut.

No cream; no sugar. If the coffee is any good, it doesn't need that nonsense. If I'm feeling really fancy, I'll pour some milk in; that's it. Also, I NEVER use non-dairy creamer. I don't know what that crap is made of, and I don't think I want to know.

Quoted for truth. I keep a Brita pitcher next to my coffee maker. Only filtered water goes into my coffee.s1mplehumar wrote:...always use clean filtered water! Your coffee is only as good as the water you use.

Since quite a few like Eight O'clock coffee I saw that brand under the K-Cup system at Staples. At $10 each for 18 cups per package I got Original, Colombian, and Dark Italian Roast. I will try one of them tomorrow.
