PS2 Wireless Controller - Finally Bought One

Post by Jagosaurus »

Well, only 13 yrs after the PS2 launch :D I picked up a wireless RF Pelican Shock Wave.

I got this relatively cheap, new off epay. The dual shock Hong Kong rip offs look nice but I hear R/L 1 & 2 are reversed (would bug the mess out of me!) & they feel cheap. The shock wave feels sturdy, is full size, & looks nice (sweet matte finish on it). The vibrate can be turned off to save batteries. Very happy with the purchase.

These plus RF headphones (my next buy) will have me cutting the cord (only years after most lol).

I think you should have put this in the "Look What I Found" thread instead of making one solely for it.

Well, if Jagosaurus elaborates a bit more on the controller and gives some details on its performance, this could make for a decent little thread.

Also:

Was that intentional?

Yup GSZX, I wasn't planning on giving an update after I played a few types of games on it: analog stick heavy FPS, d-pad games such as metal slug, long play times such as RPGs.

Also, yes lol @ "epay"

I've seen pictures of a wireless Dualshock 2 from Sony floating around. Don't know anything about them, though.

The Katana Force controller. I honestly thought the controller that the OP found was that controller. Nope.

That is so fake and chinese, also the best wireless controller for the PS2 is the Logitech one imo, they go for about $20 used on ebay.

I have the middle one in the picture, would like to collect the other 2.
