Favorite Sega Systems Designs

The CDX is hands down my favorite sega console design, and possibly my top overall...

The Wondermega was sleek and nice as well.

I am not a fan of the Dreamcast design, the Gen model 2, and Master System. I like the Saturns, and Gen model 1.

I love all of Sega's console designs, they were the best at designing cool looking systems. My favorite is the Model 1 High Def Genesis. It's sleek and has attitude!

The Sega Saturn DUN DUN DUN!!! Now this thing is a system. I have no idea how they created this thing. The only thing i can think of is that, Aliens left this thing here on earth. And like they crash landed it in a field somewhere And they couldn't drive it home. So they just left it. And then a Sega scientist found it and turned into a video game system. This thing is UNBELIEVABLE.

And then we have the Dreamcast dun dun dun I don't know? I don't know, it was probably just a dream that scientists had, and it got turned into real life because of magic.

Mine is probably the model 1 Saturn. The LEDs, oval buttons, & glossy areas make it look better than model 1.

Everything about the Saturn (either version) is beautiful. The controllers don't look dated at all and I still love the BIOS loading screens and interfaces. When I compare it to the PSX or N64, it's like comparing a serious piece of consumer tech to a couple of toys.

I love the Saturn. But the Wondermega wins, probably the prettiest console eva.

I actually really like the way the Dreamcast and the Genesis 2 look. I like compact systems. They have a clean efficiency to them.

I am not a fan of ... Master System.

The SMS has this dated, kitschy charm. It's so hard angled and boxy, the thing just screams "1980s tech."

I think hardware design has always been a big strength for Sega.

This and the naming. Wish they'd give some people pointers nowadays.

Only thing I dislike about the Dreamcast is IT'S LOUD.
