You know I might as well ask this question does anybody still play LAN enabled original Xbox games on tunneling software? I know there are still Halo and halo 2 games going but any game that has system link capabilities can work through the tunneling software. What I wouldn't give to play some Soldiers of Fortune 2, Crimson Skies, and deathrow again good times.

How much do you estimate the whole collection cost you? As far as complete collections go I would imagine oXbox would be on the cheaper end of mainstream systems, though I'm sure it was still pretty expensive.

I'll take a baseline approach for a complete black label set not counting the special editions each game is worth in the range 4-5$ CIB. It comes out to roughly $4300 now add another 400 to 500 to compensate the more rare and highly sought after games then now we are at 4800. Adding the special editions are rather tricky and can have a large range but a conservative estimation would be to tack on another 1000. So IMO I would value my complete US set with special editions at $5800 and give or take hundred more or less.

Of course I didn't spend that but I did dropped in closer to $1800 in expenditures so not bad. And yeah I have both the 1st printing green buttons and 2nd printing blue buttons of steel battalion. I think the original Xbox with regards to the others is not as highly sought after so you can build a collection rather cheaply and quickly.

The hardart will be tracking down the special and limited edition of Xbox games as in most times had short print runs and sold poorly so finding them in the wild is a tough experience. But for me I love collecting for the Xbox and still play system link games so it was a no brained for me.

Right here.

The original XBox was my favorite console last-gen (wait, 2 gens ago now?). Best hardware that gen, it had that nifty hard-drive, DVD-compatible, usually the best version of multiplats, and some great exclusives (especially in the action-RPG department). Back when it was new, I even used it as a personal jukebox player, putting my favorite CDs on the hard-drive.

But my collection pales in comparison to the OP's. I thought it was pretty impressive, but, nah. And because PS2 games have been so dirt cheap the last few years, A LOT of multiplatform games I ended up getting on it instead.

Here's what I have in my Original XBox collection:
1. Arx Fatalis
2. Atari Anthology
3. Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance
4. Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II
5. Blood Omen 2
6. BloodRayne
7. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
8. The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay
9. Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge
10. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind: Game of the Year Edition
11. Destroy All Humans!
12. Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes
13. Enclave
14. Fable: The Lost Chapters
15. Gun
16. Halo: Combat Evolved
17. Halo 2
18. Jade Empire
19. Justice League: Heroes
20. Legacy of Kain: Defiance
21. Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
22. Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
23. MechAssault
24. MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf
25. Midway Arcade Treasures 3 (Racing Collection)
26. Namco Museum
27. Ninja Gaiden
28. Panzer Dragoon: Orta
29. Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Tides of War
30. Showdown: Legends of Wrestling
31. Star Wars: Battlefront
32. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
33. Tecmo Arcade Classics
34. X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse
35. WWE Raw 2
I do like my XBox 360, but I haven't really "collecting" for it, yet. I've just been getting a few games that interest me here and there. I generally don't really start "collecting" for a system until the prices goes down. So now is about the time to start. And I also have a Wii, so I'm also buying games for it.

Here's what I have in my XBox 360 collection:
Physical Copies:
1. Batman: Arkham Asylum
2. Batman: Arkham City
3. Bionic Commando
4. Brutal Legend
5. Captain America: Super-Soldier
6. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (and "Knights of the Nine" digital expansion)
7. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Shivering Isles Expansion (Physical Disc Copy)
8. The Elder Scolls V: Skyrim (and "Dawnguard" and "Dragonborn" digital expansions)
9. Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters
10. Halo 3
11. Halo 3: ODST
12. Halo: Reach
13. Halo: Combat Evolved: Anniversary
14. Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
15. Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection
16. Spider-Man: Web of Shadows
17. Viking: Battle For Asgard
18. WWE: Legends of WrestleMania
19. WWE '13

XBox Live Arcade/Download:
1. Arkadian Warriors
2. Bionic Commando: Rearmed
3. Bionic Commando: Rearmed 2
4. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
5. Contra (Arcade Version)
6. DuckTales Remastered
7. Duke Nukem 3-D
8. Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows
9. Halo: Combat Evolved
10. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
11. Mega Man 9
12. Metal Slug 3
13. Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1
14. Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse
15. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade Game
16. WizOrb
17. X-Men: The Arcade Game

Bumping this thread up before it gets lost in the shuffle. Been too busy playing Scarface and GTA V to post recent xbox collecting stuff. But I will get around to it.

I've tried to resist putting much into Xbox, but they're sure cheap enough.
More pressing matter is its noise...

It comes down to the quality of the exclusives for me - unfortunately, there are only a handful. The vast, vast, vast majority of the library is crap, with the exception of maybe 15-20 games. It's still cool to see a large collection of limited-release games though!

I have 32 oXbox games, none of which are crap. And I'm not a fan of racing or sports games, so there's even more I'm not even bothering with.
